1 AIRODYNE CATALOGUE VOLUME CONTROL TAMPERS CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS Airodyne multi leaf volume control tampers have been specifically designed for use in air conditioning and ventilation system for volume, flow and pressure control it side and tip seals of low leakage performance 1. The casing frame is robust and rigid assembly formed out of galvanized sheet steel of 1.25mm thickness. 2. The blades are extruded aluminium, double skin, fixed profile aerofoil sections. 3. The bearings are made of PVC/Plastic to withstand operational temperature up to 75 deg. C 4. The blades are fitted with galvanized steel connecting spindle with side linkage for opposed / parallel blade operation. 5. All dampers are fitted with hand locking quadrant with position indicator 6. 9 INTRODUCTION NON RETURN DAMPERS / GRAVITY LOUVRES AIRODYNE Non-return / Pressure relief dampers have been specifically designed for use in Airconditioning and Ventilation system, these dampers are air operated and are used for air intake and exhaust, and are also used for pressure relief. These dampers are also referred as Gravity / Back draught dampers. CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS 1. The casing frame is robust and rigid assembly formed out of best quality aluminium sheets/galvanized sheet steel of 1.25mm thickness. 2. The blades are formed out of high quality aluminium sheets of 0.6mm / 0.7mm thickness. 3. The bearings are made of PVC/Nylon to give smooth and rattle free operation 4. The blades are fitted with galvanized steel connecting spindle to main casing / frame for rigid and strong construction for rattle free and smooth operation due to variable air pressure. 5. A galvanized / aluminium angle is fitted internally to main frame to avoid over movement of blades. 6. All joints are welded and sealed for airtight operation and are protected by aluminium spray coating. 14 INTRODUCTION STATIONARY ACOUSTIC LOUVRES AIRODYNE Stationary Acoustic Louvres have been specifically designed for use in Air-conditioning and Ventilation system in high decibel area for in noise levels generated by A.C. or any other equipment. CONSTRUCTION/ MATERIALS 1. The casting frame is robust and rigid assembly formed out of best quality 16 gauge galvanized steel sheets (suffix GL ) and also of mill finish aluminum (Suffix AL ) 2. The blades are formed out of high quality galvanized steel sheets with perforated sheets over interior surface to cover the insulation AIRODYNE Stationary Acoustic Louvres are available in three models specific application. Models ADL and ADL-T have acoustic blades positioned at 45 angle and spaced at approx. 200mm to 250mm center to center. The inclined blades offer resistance to storm/rain water ingress. With acoustic properties, the insulating material used in vermin proof and fire retardant. Models ADL-Z have blades or baffles set in Z profile and fixed to main frame at 100mm to 150mm over lapping pitch. These type of stationary acoustic louvers are for internal air transfer system. All joints are welded and sealed for airtight operation and are protected by aluminum spray coating. An optional insect screen/bird mesh is available on request. 16 INTRODUCTION SAND TRAP LOUVRES AIRODYNE Sand Trap Louvres with vertical slots have been specifically designed for use in Air conditioning and Ventilation system to separate sand and dust particles from air stream at moderate pressure drop and low velocities. It separates up to 85% of solid particles held in environment CONSTRUCTION/MATERIAL 1. The casting frame with vertical slots is robust and rigid assembly formed out of best quality 18 gauge galvanized steel sheets (suffix GL ) and also of mill finish aluminum sheets (Suffix AL ) 2. 18mm dia holes are provided at bottom casing for out flow of trapped particles. 3. An accessory Z profile is available for combine mounting of louver units one above other to enable the out flow of trapped particles through the holes provided in the bottom frame. 19 PLENUM BOXES CONSTRUCTION DETAILS AIRODYNE Plenum boxes are suitable for supply or return linear slot diffusers and are used for smooth distribution of cool and dehumidified air over the linear surface of slot diffusers with no turbulence or noise. AIRODYNE Plenum boxes are manufactured in single piece upto 2000mm of length and cover full range of slot diffusers with one side inlet per meter length. Multiple sections suggested above 2000mm length. AIRODYNE Plenum boxes are manufactured out of 0.6mm thick best quality G.I. Sheets to maintain toughness and rigidity. These plenum boxes are welded and sealed for a airtight performance. 20 DIFFUSER BOXES Construction Details AIRODYNE Diffuser boxes are suitable for supply or return ceiling diffusers and are used for smooth distribution of cool and dehumidified air over the surface of ceiling diffusers with no turbulence or noise. AIRODYNE Diffuser boxes are manufactured to cover full range of standard square or rectangle ceiling diffusers i.e. 150mm x 150cc to 600mm x 600mm or any combination of these sizes. AIRODYNE Diffuser boxes are manufactured out of 0.6mm thick best quality G.I. Sheets to maintain toughness and rigidity. These Diffuser boxes are welded and sealed for airtight performance.
