5 External grilles, U, and 5 GENERAL AND PRODUCT CODE APPLICATION External grilles are used as covering grilles in air supply and exhaust openings. They are robust and suitable for various climate conditions. CONSTRUCTION and U are moulded of aluminium. and are deep drawn of aluminium or galvanized steel (painted versions, except sizes 125x150 and 150x175). All external grilles are equipped with an insect screen. The insect screen is made of stainless steel (wire spacing 1.8 mm). With insect screen has to be removed in mechanical ventilation or -IV used instead. -IV is equipped with a bird mesh (wire spacing 12.7 mm) and is available in sizes mm. For use in extreme climate conditions, such as salty ambient air, we recommend painted grille models (f.ex E). INSTALLATION and U are installed by nails or by casting. and are installed with screws.
