Types TRS-K5, TRS-KD, TRS-R5, TRS-RD and TRSE-RD should preferably be used in circular or rectangular ducts for supply air applications, whereas types TRS-KA, TRS-RS and TRSE-RA should be used for extract. 3 Construction dimensions TRS-K The ventilation grille, type TRS-K consists of the front border with counter punched holes and individually adjustable vertical blades (type TRS-KA). The following constructions can also be supplied: TRS-KD as type TRS-KA, but also with horizontal rear blades TRS-K5 as type TRS-KD, but with special angled hit and miss damper incorporating airflow straightner, adjustable from the grille face. The following constructions can also be supplied: TRS-RD as type TRS-RA, but also with horizontal rear blades TRS-RS as type TRS-RA, but with hit and miss damper adjustable from the grille face TRS-R5 as type TRS-RD, but with special angled hit and miss damper incorporating airflow straightner, adjustable from the grille face. 6 Installation Fixing Details Materials Installation Fixing Details The grilles are fixed with raised head countersunk self-tapping screws provided by others. Type TRS-R TRS K B 4.2 x 16, pilot hole 3.2 TRSE-R B 3.9 x 13, pilot hole 3.0 An installation sub frame is available on request for type TRS-K. If grille type TRS-R is to be mounted in spiral ducting the joints of the ducting must be riveted for large dimensions Materials TRS-K TRS-R The grille face is made from galvanised steel, the rear ancillaries are formed sheet steel surface finish stoveenamelled black (RAL 9005) using an electro-dip coat process. Pilot Tube (Fig. 1) By measurement of the effective jet velocity at several positions between blades, the arithmetic mean V eff.av. can be determined. Grilles comprise front face with mitred border including counter punched holes for fixing, rear perimeter sealing strip and individually adjustable vertical and horizontal blades. The types TRS-R and TRS-K can have special angled hit and miss damper incorporating airflow straightener, adjustable from the grille face.
