2 WELCOME Greetings! It s my great honor and privilege to write my first Flyer letter to you, our loyal customers. As you may have heard, I recently took the throttle here at Walthers from my father, Phil. I m extremely grateful for his service to our company and our industry, his steady hand, his guidance and counsel. I am also very grateful for the opportunity to serve the model railroad community and to steward our family business into the next generation. Our family and our team are honored to have been a part of this great hobby for the past 86 years, and we look forward to the future with great expectations for what we can do together. With the car unloading process in high gear the crew shuttles the cars across the adjacent street where a very patient driver waits at the flashing signals to cross.
