Built in 1931 by Standard Steel as part of series these hoppers were used to transport coak, manganese, zinc concentrates, coal, iron ore, bauxite, sand, gravel, crushed rock and sugar beets. WITH COAL LOADS Nestlé Baby Ruth Road Number NADX 4511 This 36 wood-sheathed reefer with truss rod underframe is brown with yellow decorated sides and runs on Arch Bar trucks. This colorful billboard scheme has the typical Baby Ruth logo on the right with the Curtiss president s signature and boasted a daily capacity of 7.5 million Baby Ruth candy bars! 2 Erie Lackawanna Road Number 136 This 40 standard box car with single door, full ladders and no roofwalk is painted gray with maroon band and ends and yellow stripe. Built in 1950 as part of series , EL express boxcars in this series, ran with passenger service. They later lost their signal & steam lines and were assigned to the general freight car pool. Union Pacific Road Number UP This 40 drop bottom gondola is synthetic red with black ends and yellow lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. This 40 double-sheathed wood reefer is painted box car red with reefer yellow sides and black lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks.
