The left and right main mirrors will be independently power adjusted by controls accessible by the driver. These controls will allow for adjustments in the horizontal and vertical axis of the mirror. International s Remote Body Builder Module and Freightliner s SmartPlex System are acceptable. Minimum of 6 latched switches will be located in a location easily accessible by the driver. Each switch will have a 20 amp capacity and will be fused for 20 amp. Each switch will be lighted in the power on setting. Each switch must be backlit in such a way that the function label of the switch is visible during daytime operation and illuminated when the chassis parking lights are engaged. The switches will be capable of being labeled with replaceable stickers. Sticker labels must have the following descriptions at a minimum. 1. STROBE 2. WING STROBE 3. SALT LIGHT 4. PUMP 5. SPREADER LEFT/RIGHT 6. WING LIGHT 7. Three (3) Black cover up stickers. 7Ia. International s Remote Body Builder Module and Freightliner s SmartPlex System are acceptable. 3 CLARIFICATIONS/OTHER CHANGES: 1. Items 5I., 6I, and 7I: For each connector specified, a conversion whip converting the manufacturer s plug to the connector is an acceptable alternative to providing the exact connector system specified. Example pictures can be provided upon request. 2. The unit bid prices submitted must be inclusive of all warranties noted in Section M. Warranties that are not noted as an Option 3. Bidders should submit a separate, completed pricing page for EACH bid item. The correct Excel pricing page has been revised, published on the website, and is dated 5/10/2016. Hard copies and electronic versions of all Excel pricing sheets should be included in the completed bid package submitted to the Department. 4. A Light Duty Chassis option, omitting the set forward requirement, has been added to the Excel pricing page dated 5/10/ Bid Item 32 is a deduction and has been altered to indicate such. 6. The bid opening date (bid submission deadline) has been changed to Thursday, May 26 th at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be received by this date and time to be considered for award of this ITB. 7.
