We have an excellent in house design team and together with a strong long term partnerships with our specialist manufacturers, we are well placed to offer a full range of lifts from standard home lifts through to bespoke lorry lifts. Our strength is in working closely with our customer at all stages from enquiry, survey, design, drawings through to supply of the lift. The quality of our equipment is rigorously checked prior to despatch. Whilst we do not offer installation we have excellent site support ensuring that we are on hand throughout the installation should product support be needed. We offer assistance with surveys. We would be happy to arrange a site visit for viewing of our equipment upon request throughout the UK. 5 SARKOMPAK KIT autodiallers 1. AUTODIALLER (LOOM & BUTTON) 1. The SARKOMPAK auto dialler is supplied in a high impact polycarbonate box 230x180x85mm and can be mounted within the car top area. Its compact size makes it ideal for new or existing installations. The unit has a push button fitted for the engineers use should they become trapped in the car top area. 2. SPEAKER & MICROPHONE A loom is supplied to connect the Autodialler to the COP. This carries with it 12vdc signalling for your Alarm Activated & Alarm Received indicators and the speaker & microphone. (See page 35 for BW Alarm Indicators) Part No: CS/SARKOMPAKAUTO 3. ENGINEER S RESCUE BUTTON 2. A speaker and microphone is supplied for mounting behind a grill in the COP. The microphone is sensitive enough to pickup from inside, below and above the lift car so when coupled with the high quality loud speaker the auto dialler does not require any extra units outside of the lift car to comply with EN A further engineer s activation button is supplied on a 5m cable and this is mounted beneath the lift car. The SARKOMPAK can be programmed remotely by a standard phone or mobile using DTMF signalling or on site with a handset (see below). The SARKOMPAK requires a battery backed 12vdc supply (extra cost). The machine room intercom is provided by means of a handset and connection card. This card allows easy connection from the telephone jack plug to your trailing flexes (extra cost). The SARKOMPAK requires 2 flexes for the telephone line and a further 2 if you require the machine room intercom handset. It is not always necessary to use twisted paired cables but is advisable to use this type. To comply with EN81-28 with regards to the alarm filtering, you are required to provide a volt free contact from the controller which closes when the lift is out of service. This contact is put in series with the autodialler alarm button contact. 8 controllers GLOBAL HIDRA The Hidra system uses a common processor with interface configuration to suit Hydraulic & Traction lifts (2 Speed & VVVF). On board diagnostics are standard. The system operates with only 9 wires in the shaft (5 serial communication for signalling, 2 lock circuit & 2 safety circuit). All slowing and stopping equipment mounted on the car. This makes for rapid and economic installation. The Hidra is supplied with its own associated car top control, shaft proximity switches, wiring/flexes and slowing and stopping equipment. KITVF-XT - A belt drive with simple universal door to belt attachment with a spring loaded trigger mechanism to lock the door holding the door shut in the close cycle. Car Gate Contact is included. 18 SHEAVE BRAKE GEARS European Directive 95/16/CE requires that lift car movement be controlled in ascent. EN81 covers this requirement under Clause 9.10 and Montanari offer a range of machines which control ascent with a brake on the traction sheave shaft as part (D) in clause Advantages For Modernisation Eliminates the need for a new safety gear as brake provides ascent control Existing guide rails can be reused as there are no additional stresses during braking Fitting is quick and easy as brake comes mounted on the new machine No need for new expensive, heavy bi-directional tension weight Advantages over Rope Brake Type System - Sheave Brake Fitted Direct To Machine No additional builders work or structural changes required No special fabrications or special mounting requirements ***These advantages considerably reduce site & labour costs*** Requirements The brakes are of a passive type and are applied when the voltage is cut. The lift must be fitted with an electrical security device which cuts the voltage in the event of excessive speed in ascent. Normally this device is the speed governor which activates the safety gear on the lift car. The STAR Governor offers a new concept in safety gear/governor arrangement. Manufactured from 4mm Steel Box Section Painted in Regulation Yellow Standard Length: 2200mm Section Size: 50mm x 50mm SWL: 1800 kg Prop base slides securely into the mounting boot which is permanently fixed to the pit floor. The boot has two 6mm steel strips attached to its underside enabling level fixing if the pit floor is uneven. When not in use the prop is secured in an upright position by the wall mounted bracket. The electrical interlocking facility consists of a pre-fixed limit switch mounted to the rear of the wall mounted bracket.
