1 Product Description Our superbly engineered Delta Secure Spiroll 40 provides high-speed operation with security, using proven reliable technology to achieve long tem solutions for almost any application up to 6.5m wide x 6.0m high. All Enerco high-speed security doors are manufactured in modular design and are almost maintenance free. This results in outstanding operational reliability, fast and inexpensive repairs when damage occurs, as well as low operating costs. A characteristic of the Delta Secure Spiroll 40 is the smooth faced curtain. High-speed security doors protect from drafts, keep temperature zones at a constant temperature and insulate against noise and temperature. In addition to this, they help to improve the working environment. The door is fitted with complete all round safety controls i.e. photocells at low level housed on the door columns and fail safe opto-electric safety edge or alternative light grid. The combination of running profiles and frequency inverter controls enable opening speeds of up to 2m / second. The patented, circular rolling spiral, machined from high density UHMWPE provides the non-contact roll up technology that ensures there is no wear to the lath, the finish and any vision sections maintaining the new look aesthetics and perfect clarity for many years. 2 Each lath section is manufactured from anodised aluminium, smooth finish, high density foam filled sections 42mm thick x 210mm high with. On request the door can be supplied with steel faced panels and a powder coated finish in any one of 200 colours. The curtain, operator and bearing application are manufactured in a modular design making maintenance and replacement of any parts easy. The panels are connected together with watertight aluminum hinge profiles with a dual frontal-chamber. As an option, the curtain may have full width transparent windows. The window sections are made in polycarbonate with high thermal and acoustic insulations. The patented guide design and material is precisely manufactured from a high density, self-lubricating polyethylene with additional side seals. The Spiroll is also equipped with concealed flexible EPDM profile full width seals with thermal breaks between the individual curtain sections With digital encoder limits there no mechanical limits to set which offers high levels of control, accuracy and reliability. All components are supplied with an IP 69 plug-n-play wiring system. The touch sensitive wireless bottom safety edge is fully compliant with UNI EN using a transmitter, receiver and resistive wire. Performance of the safety edge is monitored as prior to each operation, the transmitter checks the integrity of the system, which in case of failure will report to the control card with a corresponding warning code. Integrated in the door columns are IP 67 rated photocells which can be upgrade to a light grid as an option. Remote Controls The door can be supplied with additional remote controls. These fall into two categories, activation and safety. When wired to activate, they will open the door from its closed position, stop the door from closing when open and stop / reverse the door when closing. When wired to safety the features are the same as to activate however the door will not open when closed. The curtain is opened and closed by the powerful three phase direct drive motor, via the duplex chain coupling, lateral drive shaft and counterbalance system. The counterbalance serves to assist the door opening in the event of power failure. The control cabinet is equipped with a three phase, 380 V control card that ensures automatic door operation and on-demand opening/closing. It has the function of selfprotection in case of overload i.e. over and under-voltage situations. The multifunctional control software is preloaded with various special functions such as interlock and remote opening. The externally visible, interal LED self diagnostic display provides useful feedback of the current door status. Remote controls include induction loops, photocells, radar, push buttons / pull switch operation or radio / infrared controls. Page 2 of 5

Full details of the servicing requirements are available. Servicing To help protect your investment and extend the effective working life of the equipment, full maintenance packages are available and, in most cases, we can maintain all of your existing doors and loading bay equipment. The door must be serviced at least once per annum or 75,000 cycles. Full details of our preventative maintenance packages are available on request. Enerco recommend the first service is carried out 6 months after installation. We have Worksafe Contractor, CHAS and Construction Line accreditation as well as being active members of the Doors and Hardware Federation (DHF) where we have their seal of approval for the service and maintenance of doors. We ensure that our staff are trained to the highest standard and all have an NVQ qualification in line with current industry guidelines This NVQ is in addition to the CSCS Health and Safety, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and other training including product training applicable to our industry and is continually being updated.
