2 From a modest beginning in 1976 producing small quantities of gravity conveyor rollers, Arnott Handling Equipment Limited has grown to become one of the United Kingdom s foremost manufacturers of conveyor drums in FDA approved polypropylene, stainless steel, Aluminium and mild steel, gravity rollers, adjustable feet, quick release conveyor belt units and various other items related to the manufacture of all types of conveyors. From our spacious modern premises in Northampton, set in the hub of the motorway network, parts are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and speedily. 6 Quick Release Mechanism PURCHASE Quick Release Mechanism The Arnott quick release belt tensioner has been developed to assist in the quick release of conveyor belts to allow for easy cleaning under the belt. This gives a major benefit of helping to reduce the time spent on cleaning down therefore reducing costs. 12 Conveyor Drums - Polypropylene VIEW Polypropylene Conveyor Drums Food quality alternative to stainless steel conveyor drums at a fraction of the cost Available in 50, 60, 88, 110, 125, 140, 165, 200, 225 and 250 mm diameter up to 1800 mm face width. Drums can be manufactured in any diameter up to 250 mm provided the face width does not exceed 750 mm. These rollers are considerably cheaper than the stainless steel alternatives. Available in 25, 38, 50, 63, 75, 100, 125 and 150 mm diameter up to 1800 mm face width. 16 Rubber Covering VIEW Rubber covering of rollers Recent advances in rubber and bonding agent technology means that it is now possible to bond food grade rubber coverings to FDA approved Polypropylene conveyor drums. The addition of the rubber covering to the shell can significantly increase the grip on the belt thus avoiding belt slippage. It is therefore now possible to have a complete food quality Drive roller at a fraction of the cost of a Stainless steel rubber covered drum alternative. Rubber covered rollers therefore now available in Polypropylene, Stainless steel, Stainless / Mild steel mix and all Mild Steel construction Roller face can be ground parallel or crowned to suit customer s requirements Tracking groove/s machined directly into rubber surface Food quality rubber in Blue or White Non food quality rubber available in black 14

A wide range of roller diameters, shaft sizes and tube materials are available. Please see chart.
