3 DOMINO Series IP40 DOMINO SERIES CONSUMER UNITS SURFACE MOUNTING VERSION IP40 GENERAL DESCRIPTION The DOMINO Series in its IP40 surface mounting version includes 8 enclosures which respectively take 2/ modules. The units and their covers are made of selfextinguishing thermoplastic material and are resistant to abnormal heat and fire up to 650 C (IEC69521 glowwire test). They are coloured RAL7035 grey and RAL9003 white. The product material is resistant to chemical and weathering agents and highly resistant to UV rays. The IP40 DOMINO Series surface mounting consumer units are available without a window, or with a polycarbonate. They are designed in such a way that they are easy to wire tidily because the wires can be put beside the switches and under the DIN rail. In addition, it is possible to install 53 or 68 mm high switches and 98 mm high mouldedcase circuit breakers (1836 and 5 modules). The window is reversible and can be opened from both sides. The DOMINO Series conforms to the International standard IEC 670 and the Italian standard CEI STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS Surface mounted with screws and fixing plugs or optional external brackets Support frame for DIN rails that can be taken off for easier wiring, (only for 36 and 5) and fixed to the base with plastic screws a quarterturn in plastic material. The upper and lower walls of the base can be taken off (not for 2/4, 4 and ) to make holes to connect conduit or trunking in a comfortable working position. The removable, upper or lower walls can be simply installed, for joining consumer units vertically Option of putting in the cables from behind, using cutouts at the bottom of the base Side cutouts for sidebyside connection of other DOMINO consumer units using horizontal couplers Captive thermoplastic 1 /4 turn locking devices for closing the cover Drilling template on the back of the consumer unit DIN rail positioned to allow for placement of 53 and 68 mm high switches; in the versions it is possible to install 125A mouldedcase circuit breakers Ample space to the side and under the DIN rails for cabling Distance between the rails: 150 mm Tinted window that can be opened to a maximum angle of 180 both left and right, with triangular key lock (yale key optional) Snapclosing window VERSIONS All the DOMINO Series consumer units in the IP40 surface mounting versions are modular. Using appropriate couplers, it is easy to connect the consumer units together. 5 DOMINO Series Flush mounting IP40 DOMINO SERIES CONSUMER UNITS FLUSH MOUNTING VERSION IP40 GENERAL DESCRIPTION The DOMINO Series IP40 flush mounting consumer units comprise 7 enclosures that accomodate modules. The units and their covers are made of selfextinguishing, thermoplastic material and RAL 9003 white and are resistant to abnormal heat and fire up to 650 C (IEC69521 glowwire test). The product material is resistant to chemical and weathering agents and highly resistant to UV rays. The DOMINO Series flush mounting consumer units IP40 are available with a polycarbonate. Their design makes for easy and tidy wiring as the cables can be placed under the DIN rail. In addition, 53 and 68 mm high switches can be installed and 98 mm high mouldedcase circuit breakers (where there are 24 or more modules). The window is reversible and can be opened from both sides. The DOMINO Series conforms to the International standard IEC and the Italian standard CEI VERSIONS The DOMINO Series flush Mounting IP40 is characterized by modular elements. With the appropriate coupler, flush mounting units can be joined horizontally or vertically. The coupler, which stays embedded under the wall surface, aligns the units correctly under the wall surface (in terms of distance and alignment) and makes it easy pass the wires from one consumer unit to another. The diagram illustrates the different possibilities.
