You would never believe that these high-quality ornamental items conceal a technical product. Whether in brushed aluminium or with an anodised colour, no other solution offers more individuality and flexibility for matching personal taste and décor. 1-5

The coated versions, available in the colours anthracite and bordeaux red, open up whole new creative possibilities for consumer units. tech line Thanks to the tech line control panel, the UK500 Series consumer units offer that extra bit more. The monitoring and operation such as the control of lighting systems is taken care of by the control panel in a way that s both easy-to-view and decorative. The control panel can be finished by the user or supplied already wired and printed by the factory. 1-6

8 Product features UK500 series "vision line" transparent door for the UK500 series 01 vision line The transparent doors for the UK500 consumer unit series have been further developed and optimised. Aesthetic and monolithic they offer a maximized view to the interior of the UK500. The high quality models of impact resistant, high gloss polished plastic with a blue-grey shade, are glow wire tested up to 850. The self extinguishing polycarbonate material has a very high mechanical impact strength (IK 08), and being colourfast, offers an optimal view with signal lamps for example. A visual inspection of the status of individual devices is possible, without opening the door. 1-7

9 Product features UK500 series Installation uncompromisingly simple, quick and well thought-out. The wall grips, included as standard, have a dual purpose. On the one hand, they reduce depth of mounting in two additional steps. On the other, they can be used as spacers where several consumer units are to be placed side by side. The removable cable inlet allows easy insertion of incoming and outgoing cables and uses a quick, singlehand-operated push-and-stay design. Both cable inlets can be screwed tight when installation is complete Two insert depths simply invert the wall grips Wall grips vary the flush mounting depth. Simple push-and-stay technology and all-round ease of installation. The wall box is non-warp, non-breakable and non-flammable. It offers a large wiring space. The strain-relief comb for neat cabling is an integral part of the wall box. There are ample further pre-formed cable entry points on the sides and back of the wall box. The device support can be snapped in and is installed quickly without tools. Here too, a variety of common installation techniques have been catered for the device support can also be fixed in position using screws. The DIN rail is double-insulated as standard in all variants. 1-8

10 Product features UK500 series The N/PE Quick busbars and the N-RCD terminal (included with the unit) are of the plug-in variety. If required, the N-RCD terminal can also be attached to the DIN rail and will not twist. All clips are protected according to BGV A3, the German statutory standard, against inadvertent hand-contact (finger proof). 01 If required, the slots in the cover can be extended from 12 to accomodate 14 devices. The cover is fixed into position by two 90 quick-action locking screws which can be sealed. Trim frame and door are easy to remove. Adjustable for uneven surfaces, sealable cover with 90 quick-action locking screws. The quickest way for hollow wall mounting 1 All UK500 series consumer units are suitable for hollow-wall installation. To do this, you only require the UZ90P4 hollow wall set. No special hollow wall consumer unit is required. Upgrading is incredibly simple just as easy as the hollow wall installation itself. No screws, yet nothing can slip. Fastening it is as easy as fastening cable binders. The hollow wall set can also be released again if needed.
