1 Pro Lynx manual for the Boomerang Sprint Sandor Kruise & Volkan Dil 08 1 Main Gears First cut away all the covering material as explained in the Sprint Manual. However there are a few changes you will need to make to fit the Pro Lynx gear set. Where the covering material ends on the outside of the bearers, there is still some balsa sheeting left. This balsa needs to be cut also all the way up to the side rib from the fuselage. See picture: Now do a dry fit with the retract units. Mark on top where the trunion axle is located on the top of the retract Also mark where the air connections for the retract are found (this should point towards the nose!)

After the drilling use some Purple CA from ZAP to strengthen the wood and the drill holes.

2 Now mark the position onto the formers Also mark the screw holes, making sure the wheel is centred! Now Pre drill all 4 holes with a 2mm bit (if you are using 4mm Tap screws). Now also trim away a bit where the tubing from the cylinder passes

4 Now do a dry fit again to see if all goes in ok and there is some clearance for the air tube!

6 Now drill a 4mm hole into the BACKSIDE of the bearers (this is to guide the tubing coming from the side of the retract, it is made in a loop so it wont break or get kinked Note the picture shows drill into the front section, this was obviously a error from yours truly. 7 It is just in front of the cylinder Now T every tube together colour with colour. Make sure they meet in the middle and guide them over the wing tube outside the wing section. Now it is time to final assemble and testing the retracts BEFORE you apply the final covers. Brake line works best if you put it like this example.

8 Assemble main covers and you are done. (screws are NOT supplied with our LG, for the main covers we used Dubro Servo screws) Assembly of Front section:

on the axle, position the wheel and after 5 minutes it will be locked

9 Assemble the nose gear like picture, if your wheel came separate from the package, you will need some bearing glue (Loctite 648) just a few drops on the axle, position the wheel and after 5 minutes it will be locked into place. Now use 2 x 10mm spacers from multiplex wood to make some raisers

Now glue both raisers onto the original bearers, the retract must be placed as far back as possible, this is also needed if

13 Now mount the retract unit and connect the tubing. Now drill a 3mm hole into the former as seen on the picture. Now use a piece of Dubro round tubing (hard type used for pushrods)

16 Now cut away the outside of the steering pin, to make sure it fits inside the fuselage. Put the servo upside down into the fuselage (mounted from the bottom side) Connect both steering cables and you are done.
