5 English July 2018 Page 5 of 51 1 Steel door systems 1.1 General Screw determination for door handles Fixing screws for the door handles are determined. As these are declared as "additionally order if required" in the catalogues, the screws and blind rivet nuts were previously not determined Opening type 210 (transom window) There is the option of creating a flush version for doors with transom windows. As this is an exceptionally complex process, various templates were created and stored in the installation folder of JANIsoft. These templates can be imported into the programme as backup New U values New Uf values are determined for the following system from this version: - Janisol 2 EI30 dry glazing and glazing with putty - Janisol - Janisol lift/slide fitting Page 5 of 51

6 English July 2018 Page 6 of Pivot hinge anti-finger-trap doors As of this version the pivot hinges for anti-finger-trap doors can be manually selected for steel or stainless steel. 1.2 Economy Anti-finger-trap doors/pivot doors, illustrated above It is possible to use a square tube such as 100/50/2 as an upper edge profile combined with the leaf profile above The material type for this must be uncoated, otherwise the selection for the tubes is not available. 1.3 Janisol 2 EI Stiffening pins For all fire safety systems the necessary stiffening pins are now determined. In the "Technical settings" under the "Connectors" section there are three new selection options. "Without connector", "Screwable" and "Custom fitting screwable". If you click a profile you receive the 3-point fields on the right navigation page where you are able to individually change the profiles. Furthermore, the KJ3 edge profiles can now also be selected. 17 English July 2018 Page 17 of Folding doors and sliding doors From this version it is possible to create sliding doors and folding doors in sizes 50/60/ Templates & opening types Two element templates are created for sliding doors Configure folding door The folding door is equipped with a leaf configurator, into which any number of leaves can be entered. For this you also always receive the right fitting article required for this. In the opening properties the number of leaves can be defined on the left and right sides. You can now also determine whether the leaf is to be located on the left or right side. The leaf is also illustrated in the element as a point. Furthermore, the "inward-opening" or "outward-opening" version can be selected. There are two seal versions for this. An "m-25 version", between the individual leaves there is only a rubber seal of 25mm. The "m-45 version", there are two rubber seals between the individual leaves that allow a distance of 45mm. This selection can, however, still be changed in the position with the opening type. With the opening types it is possible to recognise from the picture which types are 1-track or 2-track. For this there is the image with the red arrow and the top view of the rails shown in grey below it. With the version it can be defined whether the roller is at the bottom or the top. The solutions come from the catalogue with the necessary fitting articles. Page 18 of 51

In the position properties, the sill illustration can be changed with the entry of the "guide rail". As there are independent profile systems for sliding doors and folding doors and the difference is enormous, it is not possible to switch between these two systems. You must therefore know from the start whether a folding door or a sliding door is to be given Technical settings The possible glazing types can be chosen in the technical settings as usual Fitting selection The following selection is valid for the fixtures of the new system: you can additionally select the handles for both sliding doors and folding doors. After this, using templates or with surface, parts of the sash bars can be defined. You then receive a profile selection of the possible reinforcement profiles. This allows narrow profiles with wide profiles to be freely combined. 5 Steel lift-slide systems 5.1 Janisol motorised fitting From this version, the selection for a motorised fitting of the Janisol lift-slide system is available: 2nd fitting version enhanced by "300 kg motor drive"/"400 kg motor drive" in the following types: - 2A/1-2A/1.2-2D/1-2D/1.A - 2B Page 24 of 51

25 English July 2018 Page 25 of 51 6 Steel curtain wall systems 6.1 VISS basic substructures From this version it is possible to use steel tubes, IPE, IPET and UNP supports as a substructure for the VISS Basic version. 6.2 New seals The seals are now determined for the VISS roof glazing instead of the seal. 26 English July 2018 Page 26 of 51 7 Steel programme changes 7.1 SchueCal Mobile Freemium In the installation of JANIsoft, the LinkUp programme is now installed. After the installation of JANIsoft there is the option of activating the interface for SchüCal mobile in settings under "Mobile settings". After this, the programme has to be restarted. The computer can then be connected with SchüCal mobile. SchüCal mobile is available for ios and Android in the App Store or Google Play store. Install this app and scan the QR code on the screen displayed to you. After this it allows you to call up your project data via mobile. JANIsoft must remain open. If JANIsoft is closed the connection will no longer work. With the freemium version you can call up information from the position and project data with your mobile as of version 2018 R1. 27 English July 2018 Page 27 of SchueCal Mobile Premium In SchüCal mobile you can test the premium function for free for 30 days. When you activate the switch, the 30- day test version begins. It allows you to measure the shell dimensions at the building site and directly change the JANIsoft elements via mobile. 32 English July 2018 Page 32 of Selection for the coater In the master data under "Contacts" for the "Coater" the selection basis for the steel area can now be changed from "handling meter" to "handling frame and handling meter" Nonetheless, there are also a great many coaters that deal with this via profile surface. This therefore provides an opportunity for choice. 7.8 Deduction dimensions of leaf profiles If deduction dimensions are used for the leaf profiles, these are also listed in the following lists from this version: parts list, element overview and infill plan. In the lists outlined above the "deduction dimensions" field must be selected in the options. This allows the deduction dimensions to be shown in the lists. 34 English July 2018 Page 34 of 51 8 Aluminium door systems 8.1 General Optionally extend stop profile floor recess In the "node properties" dialogue as of this version, when entering a start for corresponding doors, you can determine whether the start should also be valid for the stop profile and reversible profile or not. The requirement is that the node at the joint type be continuously blunt from the sill and stop profile. When using a flat sill the technical setting of flat ground sill for doors under the design group must be set to non-continuous. Page 34 of 51

For a suitable opening (door with motorised lock or E/A opener), you can select where the access control is to be fitted; to do that, go to the new "Bluetooth access control" in the "Field properties" dialogue box. 8.3 Lock selection for escape route doors For doors with partial escape route, full escape route (EN 179 or EN 1125) versions, as of this version the locks to be selected from can be reduced to the locks with the desired anti-panic function (B, C, D, E). For this, in the dialogue "Field properties" under "Openings" group, you can find the new anti-panic function property for these doors with the selections B, C, D, E or all. The standard setting is all. If you select one of the anti-panic functions on offer, under the locking/handling group, only the associated locks are offered for selection. Any already entered lock is automatically replaced by a matching one. 8.4 Firestop ADS 76.NI SP ADS 90 FR 30 safety locks The new electric safety locks art , art and art can be selected. - For these locks, using the new property connection line, the connection cable art can be optionally selected. - For lock art , via the new property control safety lock can be optionally selected for the desired control (12 V DC, 4.5A or 24 V DC, 2.5 A). The pre-setting is "without sealing piece". For existing items, please note: The new setting affects existing positions. In the preceding versions, the sealing pieces were always determined for the corresponding doors. From this version only if you convert the setting to with sealing piece for the position. Guide rail - black acc essories (version group): you decide whether the alternative guide rail with integrated round cord is determined. Locking version (fitting group): you decide which version is determined (locking on outer frame or on leaf). Profile butt connector (connector group): for elements with profile sharing you decide on the version of the butt connector (can be screwed, nailed). If, for the glazing version property, you had selected the with glazing insulation entry: in this version, the box for optimised insulation is checked. The additional articles for the optimised insulation are determined. b. If, for the glazing version property, you had selected the with flag seal (sound insulation) entry: in this version, the box for optimised insulation is not checked. The additional articles for the optimised insulation are not determined. Only lift-slide elements: for types 2A/1 and 2A/1.2 the box for sound insulation in the field properties dialogue (openings group) is not automatically checked and the sound insulation articles are not determined. Please check the positions and adjust the automatically given settings as required! With a combination of 6 mm glazing reduction profile with 3 mm, 5 mm, 9 mm and 11 mm glass seals, a higher glass seal can alternatively be used. From this version, under the "glazing" group, you can find the new property "glass with glazing reduction profile".
