APPROVAL EXTENDED FOR HUECK LAVA 77-30, F30 GLAZING The approval for the Lava glazing Z has been granted an extension and is now valid until 20 April This means it is possible, for the first time, to combine fire doors and glazing in external walls in Germany (glazing according to national technical approvals, door according to classification report) to achieve a fire resistance rating of 30 min (F30/EI30). A so-called individual case approval is now no longer needed. The key innovations are as follows: It is now possible to combine fire-resistant glazing according to DIN (Ü mark) with fire doors according to EN (CE mark). In combinations of fire-resistant glazing and fire doors in external walls, the maximum element dimension has been set at 3,450 mm. Changes to installation situation and their normative references for walls made of concrete, brickwork, gas concrete and sand-lime brick, as well as for stud frame constructions. 4 3. NEW REBATE GASKET FOR HUECK LAMBDA WS 075 / WS 090 We have created the new rebate gasket Z for the internal sash overlap in the HUECK Lambda WS 075 and WS 090 series and their variants. The new rebate gasket offers not only functional advantages but also easy assembly and replaces the Z rebate gasket across the entire WS/DS system with immediate effect.
