When you book a Royal Caribbean private car/van arrangement, your tour will be run by one of a select group of guides and operators handpicked by us to meet our high standards. By booking private arrangements through Royal Caribbean, you ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing we ve handled the details so you can relax and enjoy your day. Private car/van arrangements are available for online booking in over 23 Europe ports (refer to the list of currently offered private arrangements starting on page 3). Private car/van arrangements allow you to choose an itinerary geared toward your own personal interests, convenience and flexibility. For guests who want to explore individually or in a small group, you have the opportunity to tour the city and/or surrounding areas via a private vehicle. Vehicles with a driver and English-speaking guide or with driver only are offered on a half-day (4 hours) or full-day () basis. A car will accommodate 1 to 3 guests, with a maximum capacity requiring 3 passengers sitting in the back seat. A van will accommodate 4 to 8 passengers (7 passengers with a guide and 8 passengers without a guide). A mini-coach will accommodate 9 to 16 passengers. Bear in mind the driver s command of English varies and the driver cannot act as a tour guide due to local restrictions or guidelines. The driver cannot assist with itinerary planning or guiding requests. Private arrangements do not include entrance fees, meals, gratuities, refreshments or any further incidental charges (parking and/or tolls) that may occur. Orders will be processed on a first-come/first-served basis, per sail date. General Terms & Conditions for Custom Private Arrangement Requests Custom private car/van request(s) must be received in writing to ensure proper processing. Request/s must have a valid booking ID# and should be ed or faxed by 30 days prior to sailing. Custom car/vans should only be pre-reserved by one individual per party as orders are placed per vehicle. The entire cost of the vehicle will be charged to that person s credit card details and cannot be divided amongst the party. A tour ticket will be issued and delivered onboard the ship to the stateroom of the guest booking this tour and noted with the meeting time and location. Full payment is due upon confirmation of the custom private arrangement(s). Within 30 days prior to sailing, once the private arrangement(s) has been confirmed, changes and refunds cannot be accommodated. The shore excursion office may request an advance copy of your itinerary to provide details to the local agents prior to your arrival into port. Actual vehicle type and size may vary depending on availability, due to weather conditions, safety concerns or as deemed necessary by the tour operator.
