Delta 116 flies non-stop from Atlanta (ATL) directly to Stuttgart (STR). If you arrive in Frankfurt (FRA), the best way to get to Stuttgart is to take the train directly from the Arrivals Terminal in FRA to the Stuttgarter Hauptbahnhof Station it s a little over an hour ride. 2 Day 1: Thursday, September 12 th Depart North America Depart from home for your overnight flight to Europe. Day 2: Friday, September 13 th Arrival in Stuttgart and Mercedes Museum Tour Upon arrival in Stuttgart, you will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel, the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin Hotel. On the other hand, if you arrive in Frankfurt (FRA), which maybe more convenient for guests west of the Mississippi, the best way to get to Stuttgart is to take the train directly from the Arrivals Terminal in FRA to the Stuttgarter Hauptbahnhof it s a little over an hour ride. The Hotel Graf Zeppelin is directly across the street. Our staff will be happy to arrange your flights and trains. After you check in and freshen up, we will meet for the important Drivers Briefing where we will complete the PORSCHE car rental paperwork, followed by a Luncheon in one of the hotel s restaurants. After lunch, we will visit the Mercedes Museum for a fascinating look at the history of motor vehicles. 3 Day 3: Saturday, September 14 th - Stuttgart RUF Alpenhof Murnau (~275 Kms) Start your first driving day with a delightful breakfast at the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin. After breakfast, we will transfer to the parking garage where you will have an introduction to your brandnew PORSCHE. After leaving Stuttgart on the Autobahn A8 towards our Hotel, the Alpenhof Murnau, we will stop to visit RUF for a special private tour of their facilities. In the afternoon we will arrive at the 5- star Hotel Alpenhof Murnau, located at Lake Staffelsee. Together we will enjoy drinks, Canapés and snacks upon arrival. After checking into our rooms and relaxing the rest of the afternoon, we will meet for dinner to enjoy a delicious meal at the Alpenhof Murnau. 4 Day 4: Sunday, September 15 th - Hahntennjoch Alpine Road to Pfronten (~210 kms) Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Hotel Alpenhof Murnau. After breakfast, we will drive to Pfronten via the spectacular Hahntennhjoch Pass before stopping for lunch at Schlossanger Alp. After lunch, we will drive back to the Hotel Alpenhof Murnau via the town of Steinboden. You will definitely want to bring your cameras with you today! 5 Day 5: Tuesday, September 16 th - Murnau Stuttgart (~275 Kms) Enjoy a relaxing morning and a delicious breakfast at scenic Hotel Alpenhof Murnau. We will depart mid-morning for an exciting drive back to Stuttgart on several Bavarian backroads and on some of the fastest segments of the German Autobahns. After saying goodbye to your PORSCHE you fell in love with, check-into your rooms at the Graf Zeppelin. Tonight, experience a special dinner at the Stuttgarter Stäffele. 6 Day 6: Tuesday, September 17 th - PORSCHE Factory and PORSCHE Museum Start your day with a hearty breakfast in the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin. After breakfast, we board our luxury motor coach to the Porsche Museum at the Porscheplatz 1 in Stuttgart. We have a private guided tour through the PORSCHE Factory and the PORSCHE Museum on your last day in Stuttgart. We will also visit some closed-to-the-public behind the scenes areas like the Neuwagenauslieferung (New Car Delivery), Kundenzentrum (Goodie Store) and Special Selection. In between the Factory Tour and the Guided Tour of the Museum, we will enjoy an exquisite lunch in the Restaurant Christophorus, located in the PORSCHE Museum. We board our bus back to the Graf Zeppelin before our Farewell to Germany Dinner at ZeppelinoS in the Hotel Graf Zeppelin. 7 Day 7: Wednesday, September 18 th Depart Stuttgart Enjoy another fabulous breakfast at the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin. If you are departing for North America, you will be transferred to the Stuttgart Airport for your return flight. Have a safe flight back home! 8 2019 Fall TREFFEN Price $5,868 per person, based on two persons per room and PORSCHE. NOTE! PORSCHE base rental (including 200 kms/day for a total of 600 kms for 3 driving days) and gasoline (at $8.75/gal.) are included as are all meals per itinerary, fabulous hotels, multi-lingual guides, walkie-talkies, and insurance (except the 2,500 deductible for any damage). You may purchase CDW insurance for 75 that reduces your personal damage assessment to 1,000 maximum. It is imperative that you inspect your 2019 PORSCHE for any damage prior to your taking possession of the car and register it with the representative of the rental company present. Additional kilometers at 1/km, which we estimate currently at 100 kms over the first 600 kms are included for this trip, and traffic fines, if any, are required to be charged to your credit card or billed to you by the PORSCHE rental company AVIS. At current Euro-Dollar exchange rates, we estimate the cost of the Additional 200 Kilometers to be approximately $125 per PORSCHE. Of course, that amount will increase if we are required to alter the routing due to traffic, weather or local events. Be sure to take a picture of the odometer of your rental PORSCHE when you take possession and again when you return it on the last driving day, so that there cannot be a dispute as to damage liability. If you wish for additional room nights in Stuttgart, we will make the reservation for you at the group rate. If you prefer a single room, there is a single supplement of $1,368. If you prefer to drive a PORSCHE alone, there is a surcharge of $1,932. We can reserve additional PORSCHE rentals through our full- service travel division.
