Box Vechta Germany Tel. +49(0) Fax No. 601 December 7, 2004 Coolbox Coolbox is a new, decentral cooling system which is also able to offer a compact cooling possibility for locations with bad water quality. The Coolbox is delivered ready mounted. The inlay consists of a high-grade plastic cloth which can easily be cleaned of salt, iron or algae by means of a high pressure cleaner. For this purpose, the two winged nuts of the stainless steel rail have to be loosened so that the plastic cloth can be removed from the frame and can then be cleaned. Thus, the durability increases considerably. The large special surface of the pads provides a high cooling capacity. The frame of the Coolbox consists of fiber-reinforced plastic material. The Coolbox is available with an air capacity of 5.000m³/h, m³/h or m³/h. PI No. 601 page 1

2 The necessary water is supplied by a submerged pump (DOC 7, ) and is evenly sprayed over the plastic cloth by the nozzles. The required number of submerged pumps depends on the type and number of Coolboxes (see table). The submerged pump DOC7 has a flow rate of approx. 5000l/h with a back pressure of 1.0 bar. 3 Through the upper 1 -connection (outs.thread), water is sprayed over the plastic cloth through integrated nozzles. Thus, an even water dispersion is achieved. Through the 2 -outlet (outs.thread), water is led back into the tank. The Coolbox is mounted into the exterior wall in a way that its bottom side bears on the wall.
