3 HISTORY OF THE COMPANY Company AVTOPRIBOR, Vladimir, Russia, was founded on May 1, 1932, as a specialized enterprise to manufacture electric parts for automobile plants built at that time and was the only enterprise in the former USSR for design and manufacture of automotive control instruments. During the last 81 years OAO Zavod Avtopribor is the leading Russian producer of automotive components for cars, buses, tractors, combines, motorcycles etc. The company supplies its products to all OEMs of Russia and CIS countries. 12 FORD MOTOR COMPANY Avtopribor started cooperation with FMC in In 2004 Avtopribor started supplies of front for Ford Focus I. From April 2006 to June 2011 "Zavod" Avtopribor "supplied front wiper system for Ford Focus II (under license of Bosch).
