2 ALMONDVALE POLL -WHITE SUFFOLK STUDS Welcome to our 2017 Sale- Our 30 th! We are very proud to present our draft of rams for your appraisal this year. Looking back over time from our first Bond sale in 1988 we are now seeing an increase in average body weight of 25% and a reduction of micron average of 4.5m. In this years offering we consider this is where we want to keep our rams production figures, with bold crimping wools that test finer than they look, while keeping those real dual purpose qualities. This year we conducted a full scanning exercise on our Poll Rams, with the assessor quite surprised with the excellent results being obtained from these rams. With Australia s sheep population at a 100 year low of 67 million, compared to 170 million in 1990, we remain in the box seat to continue to gain top prices for our wool, prime lamb and excess sheep sales. Our White Suffolks this year are again a very even draft of big, long, well muscled rams that have scanned up better than ever. Our well travelled shearing team told us they were the biggest and best meat rams they have shorn anywhere- quite an encouraging comment for us to hear. To our clients we again say thankyou for your continued support, as we continue to produce the rams you require, with the passion you expect.
