6 Fellow Cattlemen, In 1984 we began our Angus program with exceptional Wye Bred heifers. Since then, Price Cattle Company has consistently selected and bred to proven Angus sires known for maternal traits. We now have a truly elite herd of Angus cows. Expanding beyond our purebred Angus program in 1989, Simmental and Gelbvieh genetics were introduced the result is what we call Herdmaker composites. Using proven sires and stressing maternal traits (as with our Angus program), the genetic diversity and hybrid vigor of these breeds bolsters our offering of desirable genetics. The bulls have been carefully scrutinized for their performance, physical appearance, and docility. Each has been ultra-sounded, DNA evaluated, and semen tested. Each bull is presale-priced. On sale day, the bull can be purchased at that assigned price unless there is multiple-buyer-interest for the same bull, in which case there is a bid off with no hype!
