An excellent finish can be achieved with TRC heads. These are very sensitive and radial correction of 1 µm can be effected directly on the machine and easily read on the scale. 15 BORING & FACING SOLUTIONS TA-CENTER CNC BORING & FACING HEADS Ta-center boring and facing head are made to be used on automatic tool changers, therefore on essentially all machining centers. A U drive unit commands the feed control of the tool slide and the tool placement even during rotation. This unit is managed directly by an axis called U by the CNC of the machining center organized in this way, the machining center is the solution to a series of different processes like inner and outer turning operation, grooves, conical and variable boring, concave and convex radius machining, cylindrical and conical threading, complex profiles, etc. An application on machines that do not permit the connection to an axis of the CNC, may be made by managing the motors of the U-drive unit with a practical, simple and economical U-control positioner with wireless Remote-Control. This positioner can be connected to the M-function of the machine to receive start signals of the various operation programmed on the REMOTE-CONTROL. Ta-center has working range max upto 400 mm with interchangable adapters and even suitable for small machine ISO/BT 40 due to its compact design and weight of only 6 Kgs. 19 BORING & FACING SOLUTIONS AUTORADIAL (AUTOMATIC FACING HEAD) (Manual) Facing Heads with automatic feed and rapid return of the slide without having to stop or reverse the spindle of the machine tool. These heads are applicable for machining centres and on CNC machines. AR heads are used for facing, back facing, internal or external grooving for spring washers and O-rings, for spiral cutting on flanges. These heads are available in three models AR 100, AR 125 & AR 160. The cycle is composed of the working feed and of the quick return of the slide without ever stopping or reversing the rotation of the spindle.
