1 SALE 1/2018 SURPLUS USED EQUIPMENT INFORMATION TO BIDDERS SALE BY SEALED BID BIDDERS ARE INFORMED THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF SALE WILL APPLY: 1) The Equipment will be sold without warranty on an "As-Is --- Where-Is" basis, with unfit registrations if available. At no time shall any claim be allowed against the City with respect to any material or equipment. 2) Within three (3) working days after the notification of award, the successful bidder must pay in full by Certified cheque, money order or bank draft, payable to "The City of Thunder Bay". Failing to make the payment within the three (3) working days, the City of Thunder Bay will consider the bid to be void. 3) Each successful bidder will be required to pay to the City the bid price, plus the applicable HST. 4) The successful bidder will load and remove the Equipment at the bidder's expense no later than five (5) days after the notification of award. 5) All offers must be submitted on the forms provided in a sealed envelope and properly labelled. 6) The highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted. The City of Thunder Bay reserves the right to withdraw Equipment during the course of this sale. The City of Thunder Bay shall have the sole discretion to award this sale in whole or in part. 7) Employees of the City of Thunder Bay shall not be eligible to purchase either directly or assisted by third parties. 8) Facsimile or Telephone Bids will NOT be accepted. 9) Bid Prices will not be released to the public until all the Equipment has been paid for.
