INDEE Philippines 2018 The Philippines is the fastest-expanding major ASEAN economy in The IMF expects the Philippines to maintain a similar GDP growth in 2017 on the back of a series of continued demands and modest fiscal stimulus programs supported by the local government. Backed with US$50 billion of revenue from remittances and outsourcing which represents approximately, 9.8% of GDP in 2016, was definitely, a major driver of private consumption in the Philippines economy! According to World Bank & Asian Development Bank, The Philippines will continue to be the fastest-growing economy in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Realizing the immense potential which the country has to offer, EEPC India has identified Philippines as the location of the next edition of its flagship engineering show Indian Engineering Exhibition (INDEE). This is the first time that EEPC India is venturing into Philippines. INDEE Philippines will coincide with the International Metalworking Expo scheduled from August This is the largest metalworking exposition in Philippines and is being organized in partnership with The Die and Mould Association of Philippines (PDMA), the organizer of PDMEX, which is the largest and a focused metalworking show in Philippines. PDMA has organised eight editions of PDMEX till now. This year PDMEX will be a concurrent show with International Metalworking Expo Features of International Metalworking Expo With a well-structured network of production facilities, the automotive industry is one of the key drivers of the Philippine economy. Supporting industries, such as metalworking, automation tech, and tools and accessories encourage strong backward linkages in automotive manufacturing. These linkages include capital-intensive production and equipment testing, machinery, dyes and moulds, metal stamping, die casting, and machining. This exhibition focuses on professional international exhibitors and is an easily-accessed platform for all exhibitors to expand their overseas markets and increase brand visibility. 200 exhibitors to display their products 10,000 visitors expected 7 Country Pavilions - Germany, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, China and EU. Features of PDMEX It is the largest metalworking show in Philippines. It incorporates eight allied industries such as Auto Car, Machine Tools, Metrology, Outsourcing & Engineering, Plastics, Welding, Sheet Metal etc. In the year 2017, over 13,000 sqm allocated for the event was occupied by 187 registered participating companies and 383 combines local and international exhibitors who showcased a numerous state-of-the-art technologies coming from different country origins. 9,932 trade visitors and buyers from CEO, Decision Makers to people coming from different industries and other neighbouring countries registered in show. An initial proposal seeking assistance towards airfare reimbursement to the members has already been submitted to the Ministry for computation. On getting formal approval from the Ministry an airfare reimbursement up to INR 45,000/- will be available to participating companies subject to fulfilling MDA guidelines laid by the Ministry. Benefit to member-exporters EEPC India is organizing this event under the MAI Scheme of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The rates mentioned above are subsidized in comparison with the normal rates offered by the Fair Authorities.
