3 Getting to the University of Idaho From the North (Coeur d Alene) Continue on Hwy 95 South to 3 rd Street, also known as Highway 8 (3 rd stoplight) Turn right on 3 rd Street and drive west in the left lane for several blocks to the stop light at Perimeter Drive/Farm Road Turn left onto Perimeter Drive Go straight through the 4-way stop intersection Drive one more block and turn left into the Kibbie dome parking lot, there will be signs that say bus parking Buses may park in the gravel parking lot ONLY From the South (Lewiston) Continue on Hwy 95 North to Sweet Avenue (2 nd stoplight) Bear left onto Blake Avenue, no stop required Turn right onto Nez Perce Drive, travel past the golf course Bear left onto Perimeter Drive Turn right into the Kibbie dome parking lot, there will be signs that say bus parking Buses may park in the gravel parking lot ONLY From the East (Troy) Continue on Hwy 8 to Washington Street (2 nd stoplight) Turn right and drive north to 3 rd Street (2nd stoplight, approximately 6 blocks) Turn left onto 3 rd Street and drive west in the left lane for several blocks to the stop light at Perimeter Drive/Farm Road Turn left onto Perimeter Drive Go straight through the 4-way stop intersection Drive one more block and turn left into the Kibbie dome parking lot, there will be signs that say bus parking Buses may park in the gravel parking lot ONLY From the West (Pullman, WA) Continue on the Moscow-Pullman Hwy and turn right at Perimeter Drive (2 nd stoplight) Go straight through the 4-way stop intersection Drive one more block and turn left into the Kibbie dome parking lot, there will be signs that say bus parking Buses may park in the gravel parking lot ONLY 3

4 Campus Bus Routes (refer to map, page 8) All designated bus routes on campus are one-way moving clockwise around campus with 12 o clock located to the North. For safety reasons, Deakin Avenue will be one way southbound on Friday and Saturday, and has the potential of closing entirely to all traffic except buses without prior notice. Cars will not be allowed onto Deakin Avenue during street closure periods. Attempts to access the Bruce Pittman from the wrong direction will result in delays. Enter from 6 th Street ONLY. If possible, please avoid this area when driving around campus. If a rider is mobility impaired and cannot be adequately serviced via identified bus routes please consult staff or call (208) in advance to make arrangements. staff are available to provide assistance and will be identified by traffic vests. Please comply with instructions to avoid delays and citations. Green Bus Route (Bruce Pittman ) This route serves the Bruce Pittman, St. Augustine s Catholic Church, Natural Resources (or CNR), Wallace Residence, and Hartung Theatre There is a loading zone at the Bruce Pittman on Deakin Avenue This route is one-way with bus traffic flowing East on 6 th Street and entering Deakin Avenue from 6 th Street only Blue Bus Route (Kibbie Dome) This route serves the LDS Institute, Intermodal Transit, Ridenbaugh, and the Kibbie Dome, with loading zones at each location This route is one-way with bus traffic flowing South on Deakin Avenue and West on Nez Perce Drive towards the Kibbie Dome parking lots Yellow Bus Route (Rayburn Street) This route serves the Physical Education, Administration, Albertsons, Library, Renfrew, Law School and the Idaho Commons with loading zones near each location There is no parking near the Idaho Commons on University Avenue, this area is for drop-off and pick-up only This route is one-way with bus traffic flowing North on Rayburn Street and West on University Avenue This route includes University Avenue which is partially located within the campus walkway, on the walkway pedestrians have the right of way and speeds should not exceed 5 MPH, please drive carefully and slowly Off-Campus Bus Routes & Site Locations (refer to map, page 9) Bus loading zones will be located at off-campus site locations and are available for drop-off and pick-up only The map on page 9 provides general locations of sites located off-campus 4

5 Bus At the University of Idaho campus: The large gravel lot (lot 57 diagonally striped on map), west of the Kibbie Dome is reserved for bus parking only each day of the festival and closed to all regular vehicles, this lot is subject to closure due to weather and surface conditions, lot information will be posted daily Lot 60 on Sweet Avenue is NOT available for bus parking, this lot is for commuters only The Intermodal Transit bus pullout is NOT available for bus parking, this area is for SMART Transit use only Bus parking is NOT allowed at the Palouse Mall, all bus parking is located in the large gravel lot west of the Kibbie Dome Bus Loading Zones Bus loading zones are designated by and Transportation Services at all campus event/concert locations and at off campus locations Loading zones are for prompt loading and unloading ONLY, no parking is allowed in loading zones The driver must stay with the bus at all times and be available to relocate when requested, please plan accordingly Loading zones may change based on weather and surface conditions, look for signage posted on yellow sandwich boards or contact parking staff for up to date information 5
