2 i RESOLUTION NO 2010 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH FLORIDA APPROVING CONTAINER SYSTEMS INC AS THE SOLE SOURCE VENDOR FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2009 SCHWARZE A7000 REGENERATIVE AIR STREET SWEEPER FOR THE COST OF AND SPECIFYING THE FUNDS THEREFORE WHEREAS sweeper makes recommend the street sweeper staff members have evaluated several street and models and came to the combined conclusion to purchase of a Schwarze A7000 regenerative air and WHEREAS research indicates that there is only one authorized Schwarze dealer in the State of Florida and WHEREAS Container Systems Inc is the preferred well as the lower bidder and vendor as WHEREAS City staff is requesting authorization to sole source with Container Systems Inc to purchase a 2009 Schwarze A7000 regenerative air street sweeper and to encumber from the Budget Account NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS Section 1 The City Commission hereby approves Container Systems Inc as the sole source vendor for the purchase of a 2009 Schwarze A7000 regenerative air street sweeper for the total cost of Section 2 The funding for the purchase of the street sweeper shall be provided from Account PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5TH DAY OF JANUARY 2010 ATTEST PEGGY NOLAND MAYOR ADA GRAHAM JOHNSON MMC CITY CLERK
