1 Ballasts alco ighting Technologies offers Proume Ballasts for standard T1 applications, including Preheat, Rapid Start, Rapid Start igh Output and Instant Start ballasts. inimum Starting Temperature Proume Ballasts are engineered with a minimum starting temperature of 50 F on the primary lamp and 60 F on energy saving lamps. For igh Output ballasts, the minimum starting temperature drops to -0 F to guarantee reliable cold temperature performance. Inherent Thermal Protection All Proume Ballasts are rated Class P for Inherent Thermal Protection. This safety feature causes the ballast to deactivate when the maximum safe temperature is exceeded. Once the ballast returns to a safe operating temperature, the thermal protector will automatically reset, resuming normal operation. Certification All Proume Ballasts are certified by Underwriters aboratories for use in the United States. They are also certified by either U or the Canadian Standards Association for use in Canada. Energy Efficient Alternatives alco ighting Technologies offers energy efficient alternatives to standard T1 Ballasts.
