2 INTRODUCTION This report analyzes 712 home sales that took place in The Villages between January 1, 2014 and December 31, The data in this report is from the Mid-Florida Multiple Listing Service, and only includes homes that were handled by REALTORS that are members of Mid-Florida MLS. It does not include resales sold through the developer (Properties of The Villages) nor does it include homes sold by owner. Buyers and sellers can use this guide to get a better understanding of what certain types/styles of homes in The Villages are selling for. 1

Summary and Key Findings Here are some key findings from the data that follows: There were 712 MLS home sales in The Villages in 2014 compared to 839 in This is an approximately 16% drop. New home sales experienced a 24% drop over the same period. The average sales price was $220,164. Homes spent an average of 60 days on the market.
