2 President s Notes Looks like all of our car events will be sunny and warm this year (since it s April 1 st, or there abouts). Hello everyone, Hope you had a great March. Now that it s turning April things will start to get more active. In fact, several shows have come and gone in March, some with our members in attendance. Please frequently check our web and Facebook pages for updates and as I can I ll have Kevin sending s on upcoming events and changes to those. The two big ones for us are the Birthday party on the 14 th at AIM bank on Slide. Thanks again to Larry for being the chef for burgers/dogs. I ll work out details on what we need to provide with Danny at AIM. Also, on that day Celebrate Today, the UMC Cancer center fund raiser will join us with buckets at the cars and collect funds for their patients. One of the reps will join us at the monthly meeting. The next event of note is the Blue Ribbon Rally. Abby Reed, their new director should join us also at the monthly meeting. She s new to the event and we ll need to work out details with her that night. There s also the Aquarium event following our party on the 14 th and that s an event that will appreciate cars, but we are not providing cars for it as a club. Please put May 5 th on your calendars. Racer is having a Cinco Day and wants us in attendance. I don t have details yet, but will pass them on as I get them. Our car show is now 2(two) months away so please be collecting ditty bag items, door prizes, etc. whatever you can is appreciated. I hope to see you on April 5th at the Red Zone. John

4 Meeting Minutes for March President John Robinson called meeting to order. 2. Minutes were approved. 3. Ronnie gave the budget and it was approved we have $6, We have one new member join please welcome Ronnie Bruton. He has a 1965 Fastback race car and a 1998 Cobra. He had the 1965 at Coffee & Cars Saturday--very neat car. 5. Several Car Shows coming up. May 12, the 3rd Annual Relentless Youth Car Show at S. Indiana---The Worship Center. Contact Ashley Keegan at ASHLEY.KEEGAN7717@ GMAIL.COM 6. March 10th---West Texas Cruiser's will be making a trip to Post for the Old Mill Trade Days. 7. Please keep Jimmy in your prayers he is having some health issues. May God Bless you. 8. Comet Cleaners will not be a sponsor this year maybe next year. Thanks to Comet for sponsoring the club. 9. If you know of anyone or company that would like to become a sponsor contact John or one of the other officers. 10. Plans are underway for the Birthday Party April 14 th at Aim Bank on Slide Road. 11. Pet Fest 2018 Join the Lubbock Aquarium on April 14 th 10:00am to 6:oo pm. You will still have time to attend after the Birthday Party Show. This will be at the AT HOME (old Sam s Club Building) parking lot 4304 W. Loop Toad Bucket Car Show is coming up soon. 13. Blue Ribbon Rally will be Saturday April 28 need more club members to help with parking cars. 14. Racer Car Wash will be donating for the Birthday Party Show. Thanks to them and all that donate. 15. Gandy's Ice Cream will be a vendor for our show in June. 16. Dennis gave a good report on the MCA club dues there was a lot of discussion on the members that need to be in the MCA. More discussion coming later. 17. There was a lot discussion on the Mustang Club's newletter. 18. Chuck gave report on the Car Show in June. We need things to put in the Diddy Bags. And the sound system was discussed. Chuck is looking at this. Thanks Chuck 19. The Elk's Club is thinking about having a car show sometime. They will call John on this. 20.
