4 EDGE FEATURES & BENEFITS SMOOTH AND LIGHT OPERATION Can be operated using eir stard chain drive or motorised technology. The durable stard chain drive is available in two ratio mechanism : :.75. The stard :.75 ratio enables a heavier blind to be lifted without need for a spring booster. However, you can nominate to use optional : ratio. It is also aestically pleasing in one size format for a consistent look throughout home. Universal spring loaded idle ends provide for smooth easy installation. The aluminium tube has been engineered to perform well with minimal deflection over large expanses. OUTER BEAUTY Hardware components are available in four colour options White, Black, Grey Magnolia. All brackets are universal in design which means operating side can be changed simply on site if required. Two bracket sizes are available, 38mm 55mm which ensures correct bracket can be selected for challenging installations maximises drop capacity. 5 LIVING WITH INNOVATION Two compact dual bracket designs are available: - The stard (under) roll configuration ensures blind skin can be fitted close to window. - The reverse (over) roll configuration provides a self pelmet effect. Both dual brackets can be installed with eir same side or opposite end controls have universal mounting options. An optional patented integrated levelling device makes it easy to adjust shades after mounting. Stard Dual Roller Two stard linking systems are available: - The stard connector set minimises intermediate gap on linked configurations. - The optional aligner link maximises flexibility during installation with a fine adjustment option for aligning level of blinds. Both linking options have 5 degree play. This provides an allowance for slightly misaligned installations. An independent linking option is available for configurations that require multiple operation. A degree linking mechanism is also available for bay corner windows. Linked Blinds A sleek (84mm projection) contemporary head box fascia system are available in both an anodised powder coated finish (white, black or magnolia) with colour coded endcaps. Both head box fascia system can be installed in both reveal face fit positions have a snap lock cover plastic outlets for easy installation quiet operation. To obtain room darkening, head box system can be installed with side channels, available in matching powder coated colours (white, black or magnolia) or anodised finish. 11 EDGE HEAVY DUTY FEATURES & BENEFITS Two bracket sizes available 55mm 75mm which ensures correct bracket can be selected to maximise drop capacity. The aluminium tube has been engineered to perform well with minimal deflection over large expanses. Universal bracket system allows for simple installation. The idle end plug has a 30mm play to provide for incorrect measurements. Components are available in two colour options: black white. Can link up to 3 blinds with 30m combined sq area. Straight linked blinds work smoothly up to an angle of 5 degrees to compensate for installation errors allows for arches with a large radius to be installed without a universal joint. SMOOTH AND LIGHT OPERATION A range of durable hardware options are now available to span widths up to 3.8m drops up to 5.5m with smooth reliable operation every time. Chain operated rollers are now available with extended limitations to cater for longer drops, while motorisation has flourished with a wide selection of motor options. Now you can select from most superior motorised solutions to link blinds up to 30m² or simply motorise a single heavy duty blind with a simple offordable solution. FABRIC RANGE A range of new fabric options that were never offered before in heavy duty program are now available, Please check new price list for more information. INNER STRENGTH The system is available with a 50mm or 65mm aluminium tube. Both tubes have been engineered with symmetrical keyways to reduce deflection over large expanses. Chain operated blinds will be supplied with 50mm tube while motorised blinds will be supplied with 65mm tube as stard. EASE OF ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION Ease of assembly installation has been main focus point of new system. Introducing two new heavy duty universal brackets that can maximise limitation of overall blind capacity ensures correct selection can be made for challenging installations. For all face fit installations, bracket screw covers will be supplied as stard. An Aligner Set is available for linked blinds which will allow fine adjustments to be made to align bottom rails during installation. For windows that are not square, an integrated leveller can be used to adjust height on idle end to ensure lateral opening is parallel. 13 EDGE ACCESSORIES CHAIN TENSIONER A new chain tensioner has been designed to complement current offerings within EDGE System. Designed in collaboration with installers to provide an easy installation process to meet child safety regulations. The chain tensioner comprises high quality plastic components to reduce noise generated from chain without compromising on quality. A rubber wheel is used to ensure quieter operation reduce overall noise generated from system. Easy clipping action minimises use of screws to give a stylish appearance. Two kit options are available for face fit or reveal fit installation. Available in four colour options- Black, White, Grey Magnolia. Face Reveal Note: The new chain tensioners will be available from January 04. IMPROVED ELLIPSE BALANCE RAIL The EDGE Technology Hardware System is available with Ellipse Balance Rail which features a sound proofing bumper has been designed with perfect weight distribution in mind to ensure fabrics hang very flat. The Ellipse Balance Rail is now available in 0 colours, which includes original Black, White, Magnolia Anodized. The new colour options are Gunmetal, Granite, Limestone, Bronze two exclusive Australian Window Furnishing colours; Dune Shoji White. Four new end caps have been introduced to stylishly co-ordinate with Ellipse rail. The internal design of Ellipse Balance Rail has been re-engineered to improve finished blind quality. All you need to do is enter size of opening you wish your blind to cover on order form. The exception to this is 90 degree corners bay windows. In all cases, level mounting is critical to operation of blind (use carpenters level). Warning: If level mounting is not achieved, telescoping of material may occur resulting in material rubbing against brackets, causing fraying unnecessary wear.
