The blinds provide effective and efficient control of heat, light and glare. High quality components ensure a long life and smooth and quiet operation. Depending on requirements, there are varying levels of light filtering available through the large range of quality fabrics. The Vanguard Roller Blind range includes the Dual System for using two different types of fabric, the Linked System for joining multiple blinds and reducing motorization costs, and the Corner System for linking corner blinds. Benefit - UV & heat protection - Energy saving- reduces air conditioning costs - Ensures privacy whilst maintaining natural light if desired - Reduces glare- suitable for offices - Minimalist design Operation/Installation VANGUARD Roller Blinds can be driven by a motor, and operated via a mounted wall switch or hand held remote control; or they can manually operated via a smooth running stainless steel chain. 3 5.1 Tender specification VANGUARD Roller Blind System STANDARD Shaft Made of extruded aluminium, diameter 38x1,25 or 43x1,25. Including control end system features and locking feature to secure the unit into the bracket. Sizes 32/32, 40/45 for easy operation. Brackets and bracket covers For top face or side fix installation. Brackets material: mild steel, zinc plated and powder coated 20x1,5 ; Sizes of the brackets in depending of the system and tube sizes. The bracket covers can be grey, white, beige or black. Bottom rail Made of extruded aluminium dimensions 11x22, with drawn-in brush and lateral gliders for the plastic side guide rail. Round or oval bottom rail available. The caps on both ends are made from high impact UVS polypropylene in master colours. Operation With stainless steel control: roll-up safety device via servo coupling, smooth positioning of the blind, swivelling ball chian exit. Operation either from the right or left side. Via motor control: the VANGUARD roller blind can be driven by motor or operated via wall switch or remote control. The blind is driven by 40 Elero Motor, with a glass filled nylon drive retaining clip. The O-ring lock the Drive Wheel to the motor. Motor and controls can be remote controlled, hardwired for control by wall switches or integrated with build management system such as Cibus. Intermediate bearing bracket Press formed steel, pre-treated and powder coated, stainless steel bearing 40 and grub screw. Colours Standard colours: Snow Withe 062; Black 050; Birch White 412; N. Anodised 020; Rivergum 421. Offered in All Dulux and Interpon powder coat colours, some non standard colours attract a small surcharge. Fabric Available in a large range of colours, textures weight and sizes. Fabrics composition 100% polyester or polymer coated glass fibre. On both end Abs nylon & Acetal with steel roller bearings. Brackets and bracket covers For top face or side fix installation. Brackets material: high grade stamped steel powder coated. The bracket covers can be grey, white, beige or black in high grade ABS polycarbonate alloy. Bottom rail Made of extruded aluminium dimensions heavy duty rectangular 41x15. On both end caps in Acetal in master colour. Operation With Stainless steel control: spring installation made nylon and high tensile wound spring steel with PVC cover, smooth positioning of the blind, swivelling ball chian exit. Operation either from the right or left side. Via motor control: the VANGUARD roller blind can be driven by motor or operated via wall switch or remote control. The blind is driven by a 50 Elero tubular motor, with a glass filled nylon drive retaining clip. For the motor driven blind can be used also the combo system. The motor is connected through a O-ring to the Wheel. Motor and controls can be remote controlled, hardwired for control by wall switches or integrated with build management system such as Cibus. Is recoended to hold the distance between the wall and foot of bracket (B) to be: 'AC' BRACKET 40 projection: B = 20 'AC' BRACKET 55 projection B = 35 The table specifying the Tube Deductions (A) for Top Fix brackets is based on the above values for B. If B is other than the values above please use the electronic calculation to retrieve the accurate Tube Deduction (A). 1. Measure Wall Length (W1 & W2) ) & the Wall Angle (WA) where the Easy-Link Uni-Joint- 90 deg will be used. 2. Calculate the Tube Deduction (A). (Refer to Blind Deductions Table for further information). 3.
