6 Cassette & Fascia The Art of Creating Flexible Solutions The Benthin cassette and fascia solutions have been designed in accordance with the overall philosophy behind the Large roller blind system. As a result of the flexibility of the system, the new cassette and fascia solution satisfy almost any requirement of both domestic and commercial applications. The new systems are truly modular. Two brackets, two basic profiles, four profiles, seven end pieces, and eight end caps provide large roller equipped with round or square cassette and fascia profiles including left or right hand control by either chain, motor or crank operation. Add another eight components and you have the option to offer the products equipped with side channels. The benefits are obvious: A flexible and modular system with fewer components reduces the risk of error during production and subsequently the number of costly customer complaints. With only two basic profiles for both square and round cassette and fascia solutions, the complexity of installation is low, keeping installation costs at a competitive level. The flexibility and modularity means that almost any wish from the end user can be fulfilled. Mechanism Brake capacity up to 8.1 kg (Ø36 mm) without lift assisting spring. Same mechanism for six different tubes using a special adaptor. Ball chain with chain joint in 4.5x6 mm or 6x12 mm. Lift assisting springs Increased lifting capacity up to 12 kg (Ø52 mm). Four springs two right and two left twisted for six different tube dimensions. Easy fitting with no risk of loosing tension. Reduction gear Gear 1:1.5 fits tube diameter 52 mm and 62 mm. End plug Patented end plug for easy installation by one person. Same end plug for six different tube dimensions. Tubes Strong steel tubes in Ø36 mm and Ø42 mm. Aluminium tubes in Ø38 mm, Ø43 mm, Ø52 mm and Ø62 mm with spline. Bottom rail Three aluminium bottom rails in elegant design.
