4 TWIN-TRAK PUSHER DOG PART #: TT " Pendant (TT-1955) 6" " 3 8 " " Connecting Bar (TT-1154) Pusher Arm Travel Hex Slotted Nut (092505) Cotter Pin (093980) APPLICATION: The pusher Dog is composed of a connecting bar with moveable flipper lugs and two attachment pendants. the connecting bar is attached to the conveyor chain with the pendants, nuts, and cotter pins. See assembly instructions for additional information. The Pusher dog is furnished in a zinc pate finish. 5 TWIN-TRAK DELATCHING PUSHER DOG PART #: TT-1188 Load Pin " Pendant Pusher Arm " Holdback Flipper Travel Side Plate Propelling Flipper APPLICATION: The Pusher Dog is composed of two pendants, two side plates, two side plate spacers, one holdback flipper and one propelling flipper. The parts are assembled to the conveyor chain load pins with hex bolts and lock nuts. See assembly instructions for additional information. The Pusher Dog is used in "Twin-Trak" power and free delatching systems to engage the pusher arm of the carrier assembly for movement in the free load bearing track. 4 lbs. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR DELATCHING PUSHER DOG 1.) Remove the rear pendant from the Pusher Dog Assembly and hook the forward pendant and dog assembly over the load pin as shown. Attach the loose pendant to the chain load pin as shown. Note: The opening of the loose pendant should be facing away from the fixed pendant. 2.) Attach the loose pendant to the dog assembly with the hex bolt and lock nut removed at the start of the assembly procedure. (Refer to other sheets for details.) The carrier shown is for a minimum overall length of 2'-0". See Load Bar tech sheet for other standard lengths. Special lengths are available to suit specific applications. Consult factory. The carrier as shown above has a maximum capacity of 500 lbs., subject to engineering review of application.

Made Special To Suit Each Application Note:.XX is the number of positions required (9 Max.), 4 position selector shown. The Selector Assembly, when added to a carrier, provides an easy method of diverting a carrier to one or more stations. To dispatch a carrier, the Selector Slide button must be positioned to the desired setting. As the carrier arrives at its destination, the Selector Slide button actuates a limit switch roller lever which will cause the frog switch to divert the carrier into storage or branch line. This unit is required to connect load bars to the carrier assemblies in tandem systems where the length of the load bar makes it necessary to flex in both the horizontal and vertical plane. 3 lbs. 13 FROG SWITCH ASSEMBLY Part #: TT-2613 (R.H.) TT-2614 (L.H.) 1'-1" Sliding Frog " 1 4 " " Sliding Frog This Frog Switch is used in a "Twin-Trak" system to allow the carrier assembly to be interfaced with a powered main line and a powered spur line. The assembly is provided with a sliding frog which allows the carrier wheels to follow the straight (main line) path or the curved (spur line) path. When used to enter a spur line, the sliding frog must be operated with an air cylinder. When used to exit a spur line, the sliding frog is shifted by the guide rollers on the Carrier assembly and no additional actuator is necessary. The air cylinder has a 115v double position solenoid valve and is completely assembled with fittings and air tubing. TT-2145 Shown TT-2146 Opposite Load Track Travel The "Twin-Trak" Heavy Duty Anti-Back Up Assembly is designed to pass a carrier in its normal direction of travel and prevent the carrier from passing in the opposite direction. It is used on vertical inclines to prevent a run away condition if a carrier is in some failure mode, i.e. disconnected from the pusher dog. The Heavy Duty Anti-Back Up Assembly is needed approximately every 5'-0" on a vertical rise. The Heavy Duty Anti-Back Up Assembly is also used at a stop to prevent a carrier from rocking. Carriers are released on demand by an operator or the system control. The stop blade is used to disengage the carrier from the delatching pusher dog. Withdrawing the stop blade allows the next pusher dog to engage the carrier wing and move the released carrier. Returning the stop blade to its initial position will stop the following carrier. The Stop Package is supplied with a single solenoid, spring return valve. The valve voltage is 115v. The Limit Switch is used for sensing the position of the pusher dog to control automatically operated devices such as stops and frog switches. The Limit Switch Kit consists of a field adjustable mounting bracket, limit switch and a adjustable roller actuator. An Indicator Light, mounted on the limit switch can be wired to illuminate when the switch is in its operated state. With Quick Disconnect The Single Photoeye package is used to detect a "line full" condition when carriers have accumulated in a storage line to a point where no additional carriers should be directed to that line. The package consists of a retroreflective photoeye, a reflector, and a clamp-on adjustable mounting bracket. The bracket is finished with McGinty Conveyors standard baked enamel powder coat paint. The photoeye voltage is 120V AC. The Single Photoeye package is used for conditions where there is not likely to be any gaps between the back of one accumulated carrier and the front of another. 5 lbs.
