4 Presentation & Advantages Valve Monitoring System Specially designed for gate valve and globe valve and gear box with a maximum of 100 handwheel turns, mechanical parts are in Stainless steel 316l with dust and sand protection for heavy duty environment. The VMS is composed of 3 parts ; - Body with the counter mechanism, switches, terminal box is own handwheel - Adaptor to replace the original handwheel of the valve - Anchor to stop in rotation the body Installation is without any valve modification (at the place of the original handwheel) Connection 2 options available: - Direct with switch cable 3/5 or 10 meters - Terminal Box integrated to the VMS design to receive the user cable Easy to install Just some minutes are necessary to install or disinstall VMS on the valve, thanks to the coupling fork (green) that link adaptor and VMS body - Move the original handwheel - Install the adaptor on the valve with the original nut. - Position the VMS body on it with is anchor. - Insert the coupling fork, secure it with the safety screw it s finish Easy to adjust switch position Position the valve in the adequate position : open or closed. Left switch monitor the close position Right switch monitor the open position - Open the blue cover - Turn the white cam up to switch activation - Close with the blue cover and secure with the safety screw, repeat this for the other position It s finish VMS orientations Laser Cutting Anchor are designed to allow 4 positions to facilitate installation and position cable gland in down position 4
