4 Control butterfly valve Use: The control butterfly valve (V-RK) is used to change the pressure and volume air currents in the piping and in air-conditioning units, in combination with a rain baffle for the regulation of air flow to the room. Product description: The control butterfly valve is composed of hollow aluminum strips turned by means of a geared mechanism. They are connected by means of pins into a framework. The control can be automatic with a servo drive or manual by means of a lever. The servo drive or lever is installed directly to the shaft of the control butterfly valve by means of a universal clamp. The operating angle is set by means of a mechanical stop. 7 Pipe flap valve Use: The pipe flap valve (V-KP) is used to readjust the air flow in square cut and round piping. Product description: The pipe flap valve (KP) consists of a control blade, pins and a control butterfly valve holder. The valve is controlled manually by default or using a servo drive at the request of the customer. The operating angle is set by a mechanical stop. 10 Exhaust head Use: The exhaust head (V-VH) is used in group I round pipings at the exhaust equipment. It terminates the vertical delivery duct in free space. It ensures that no rain water flows into the piping it ensures that contaminants be exhausted to the free space as high as possible. Product description: The exhaust head consists of a case, an insert and a socket. The case in the form of truncated cones is connected with the socket by means of screws and raising pieces, which create a slit for the run-off of rain water that has fallen inside. A cone-shaped insert with a canopy, connected with the case by means of riveted ribs, is situated inside the case. The canopy is extended by o=2cm to prevent water from getting into the piping. 13 Rain baffle Use: The rain baffle (V-PŽA) is used to prevent rain from leaking into the suction opening in the vertical plane or to direct the air current. It also esthetically covers the opening of the piping. Product description: The baffle is composed of a profile frame; individual profile blades forming the infilling panel. A metallic zinccoated screen is inserted in the piping to prevent fouling. Depending on the way of installation, the baffle is produced with a wall frame or a piping frame. 16 Damping pad Use: The damping pad (A-TV) is used to limit the transmission of vibration and noise in the ventilation and airconditioning system. Damping pads are most frequently used at the inlet and outlet of air-conditioning units or independent fans. Product description: The damping pad consists of two profile flanges connected by gummed cloth. Care has to be taken during the mounting that the cloth not be stretched or squeezed after the pad has been assembled, so that no mechanical damage is incurred. The stiffener is removed before the installation. 19 Automatic flap Use: The automatic flap (V SK) is used for automatic equalization of the pressure difference in two neighboring rooms. Depending on the type of the flap, they automatically open either by means of overpressure or low pressure. Product description: The automatic flap consists of a profile frame, profile blades loosely put on wire pins and of a piping frame or wall frame. A metallic galvanized screen is inserted into the piping at the request of the customer. Product description: The round canopy is composed of a round cover and a canopy fixed by stiffeners. The stiffeners are welded to the flange. The connection to the air duct is done either by means of a flange or by means of a round topping. 25 CAGI head Use: The CAGI head is inserted into roof constructions or into exhaust piping, where it automatic ventilation is expected as a result of pressure differences and wind. It is guaranteed that no rain water will leak into the piping. The head is place in such a way that it is exposed to the action of wind pressure. Product description: The CAGI head is composed of a case, an insert and a socket. The cylindrical case is connected with a conic socket by means of ribs. The canopy is also fixed on the ribs. 28 COVER GRILLES Use: The cover grille (A-KM) protects the external inlet and exhaust openings of the ventilation and air-conditioning systems from pollution. It can be wall-fixed or piping-fixed. It covers the opening esthetically. Product description: The cover grille filling is formed by a perforated grid. It is inserted between the outer profile frame and an inner frame. Depending on the way of installation, the grille is produced with a piping frame or with a wall frame. Product description: The control damper consists of a base plate and a sliding plate and of attach flanges. The set position is secured by screwing a wing nut. 33 SQUARE AND ROUND PIPING

34 Piping Use and operating parameters: Group 1 air ducts are designed for ventilation, air-conditioning and air exhaust without mechanical and abrasive impurities and without corrosive, aggressive gases and vapors. The maximum operating temperature is 80 C. The maximum flow-rate is 12m/s. The allowed static differential pressure ranges from 1000 Pa to 2500 Pa. Air ducts for the transport of toxic or explosive media are delivered under special technical specifications in compliance with customer requirements based on technical negotiations. Product description: Ventilation and air-conditioning square and round piping under these technical specifications stands for direct pipes, shaped pieces (adapting pieces) and pipe shapes uniformly connected to them. The nomenclature of the individual shapes complies with the standard STN These technical specifications tie in with the company standard ON for group 1 squared and round steel piping. Technical parameters: 1. Dimensions and the dimensions marking. The nominal dimension is the inner cross section dimension. The nominal dimension of square piping is marked by capital letters AxB. The nominal dimension of round piping is marked by a capital letter diameter ØD. Adherence to these marks is necessary for setting the correct dimension of typified shape. The nominal dimensions according to Table 1 are used preferentially. Table 1: Nominal dimensions range As for the bends, the inner rounding radius R is usually stated. Bends up to a nominal dimension of 800 have an R=150, for a nominal dimension of more than 800 they have an R=250. Requests for other radiuses have to be negotiated. Bends are produced with an roundness angle α from 15 to 90, graded per 15. The piping length is marked by the capital letter L. The piping is made in lengths ranging from 400 to 2000 mm, graded per 10 mm. The use of the dimensions range is not obligatory for the length of direct pieces. 2. Material The piping is commonly made of bilaterally zinc coated sheet. It is possible to make it of black or aluminum sheet, if needed. The sheet type is prescribed by the first additional digit following the ON ,X, labeling according to Table 2. The flange profiles and piping walls are fixed by means of a non-dismountable joint by mutual overpressing of the flange profile or by point welding, by riveting using a maximum spacing of 100. A dismountable connection by means of self-drilling screws is used for the mounting. A stick-on seal is inserted between the flange profiles during the mounting. Figure 1 Figure 1. The corner areas are sealed by acrylate cement for a maximum operating temperature of 80 C, and up to 450 C in the case of the special make with silicone cement. In the case of side lengths above 400 mm, clamping clips are used to prevent a flange from sagging are used. Figure 3. Mark of the joint The joint type is laid down in the mark behind the nominal dimension. It is marked by the parameter K (Ki). Connecting using a profile flange is used preferentially and there is no need to mark it. If no information is stated behind the nominal dimension,the joint is considered to be a P20 or P30 and is determined in accordance with the Table 5. The flange is delivered together with the piping. The flange is put on the free end after the shortening. Then it is filled up with cement and fastened with self-drilling screws. Figure 4. 38 Piping 1.Piping tightness The air ducts are delivered in two tightness classes- TT A and TT B. TT A- standard make for common tightness requirements, without additional transverse and longitudinal fringes. For example dressing rooms, garages, workshops, gyms, offices. TT A special make for increased tightness requirements with additional transverse and longitudinal fringes, if the piping has to be dustproof. For instance hospital rooms clean areas. TT B- The whole piping is cemented for the highest tightness requirements. For instance nuclear and isotopic areas. The dependence of the relative leakage flow rate Vs on the pressure differential Δp implies that the relative leakage flow rate within the scope of applicable pressures depending on the construction of the piping is given by the values in table 6. The weight of flanges is 0,50kg/m for P20 and 0,753kg/m for P Surface treatment The piping made of zinc coated and aluminum sheet, including the VP,BP,ZASL joints, is uncoated. The point welding spots are painted with color S 2013 ( grey or silver tone). The surface treatment of black steel piping consist of a single rust-inhibitive primer. 4. Abnormal make Requests for an abnormal make, i.e. different sheet quality, requests for another or for multiple paint, for soldering, sealing etc., always have to be discussed with the producer in advance. 5. Make of the piping The external piping surface is transversely profiled with 120 mm spacing. Stiffening is done according to individual needs. The sheet joint is flanged by longitudinal fringes or, if needed, by angle or standing fringes. The connection between the pipe and the flange is implemented by overpressing or point welding. If the customer does not request a specific joint type, the joint type is defined by the producer. 6. Allowed adjustments to the piping. The designer can define the below mentioned adjustments to the pipe, S-bend and square transitions as follows (he also has to mark their position in the design): a) Adjustment for the installation of square toppings the toppings are inserted to the openings in the piping and are secured by rivets or point welding after flanging. The section areas of ventilation grill toppings depend on the size of the ventilation grille. If the designer requests tapered sheets, he has to

39 Piping mark them in the design. The radiuses R are the same as in the case of a pipe with a topping (see technical annex 18.(B)). The ventilation grilles are attached only during the installation. b) Adjustment for the installation of round toppings the round cross-section topping is secured against axial shift by a fringe and is flanged after being put on the piping. The topping is usually without a flange. If there is a flange, it is usually marked according to chapter 8. c) Adjustment for the installation of an inspection hole this adjustment is performed immediately during the production. One hole is placed on each wall of the installation part of the piping 7. Security The air duct parts have to be permanently connected to each other during the installation in accordance with STN and STN Two joint spots are used for a conductive connection - by means of 4 fanshaped washers on each joint (STN ). The air duct is not protected against fire spread in accordance with STN article Testing and acceptance The air duct is not tested. The producer is liable for the implementation and applicability according to these technical conditions. It is necessary to discuss a request for acceptance by the buyer with the piping producer and to place a special order. Individual air duct parts are marked according to design positions. 9. Packaging and transport The air duct is delivered unpacked. It is necessary to negotiate a request for packaging with the producer and to place a special order. Air ducts have to be transported so as to prevent damage to them and their deformation. The producer is not liable for damages incurred during transportation. The complete installation material screw, seal, spare angle irons and slats - is part of the delivery. The installation material is delivered in packaging. The producer is not liable for the damages incurred due to inappropriate storage. 10. Installation The complete installation material screws, nuts, washers, a Vitolen 120 insulation, an aluminum tape, spare angle irons, slats, clamping clips and accessories is also part of the delivery. The installation material is delivered in packaging. List of accessories: - zinc-coated sleeves of round piping hanger - hanging piping elements: slats, racks - V,L,Z shaped hangers - threaded rods, threaded sockets, lifting loops, rubber seals, dowels. Before installation, it is checked if the parts have not been damaged by transportation or storage. The individual parts must not be deformed, mechanically damaged or contaminated. The installation must be carried out by a professional firm. If the designer prescribes so, a tightness test has to be carried out in accordance with the appropriate standard after the installation. The installation is performed according to the design. A Vitolen 120 stick-on insulation is inserted between the individual piping forms; the screwing together and the use of the clamping clip result from the figures of chapter 8.1. The piping is suspended under the

40 Piping ceiling on threaded rods, if possible. The threaded rod is screwed into a dowel depending on the ceiling type. The piping is connected to the rod by a V,L or Z shaped hanger riveted or screwed to the piping wall. The threaded rod is terminated by a rubber seal, dowel and nut. Addendum BOKA s.r.o. also produces piping in makes, which are different from these technical specifications in accordance with the delivered design documents. Unless the order requests otherwise, the documentation will be adjusted for the production conditions of the supplier. Ordering: The following has to be specified in the order: a) mark b) number of pieces The marking differs for each shape. It is shown in the technical annex in article 18. Order example: OBL - 200x315/500/90 /150, K2 VP 2 pcs. bend with a pipe, the K2 end has a free flange, the flange is connected to the pipe RU x500/500, K1 BP 2 pcs. pipe, the K1 end has no flange. The toppings are produced in two sizes. For the cross-section axb =710x710 and less, the following specifications are allowed: R=100 and l=125. The topping for all types of cross-sections can have R=190 and l=190, meaning that there are two possible toppings for up to a cross-section of 710x710.

When projecting, care has to be take that dimension x be at least 70 mm from the end of the pipe and dimension y at least 20 mm from the pipe edge. The inner rounding radius is R=150 for an A dimension of <800 and R=250 for the A dimension of >800. Bends from A=630 and α=90 have a guide sheet in one third of the A.
