3 4.2 Female PG and male NPT compatibility The Thomas & etts fittings are available in four different thread forms: NPT (National Pipe Taper), PG (Panzergewinde), Imperial and metric (I.S.O.) NPT and PG threads have different contours (fig. 1 & 2).
