2 AUP Rotatg Roll Clamps AUP has developed a new generation of rotatg roll clamps for safe handlg of all kds of rolls. It offers a number of advantages: Slender Arms The solid and very slim arm design enables the clamps to pick up a roll without disturbg neighborg stacks, especially with chimney stackg. The contact pads are wedgeshaped at the front, with a smooth transition to the oscillatg arm to prevent damage to neighborg rolls. ood visibility The clamp arms and body are designed to optimize visibility for the driver when handlg a roll or drivg without a load. Pedestrian collisions are a leadg form of dustrial truck accidents. AUP clamps are designed to provide the driver with excellent visibility to prevent accidents. avorable lost load and dead weight AUP Rotatg Roll Clamps have a very small lost load and a low dead weight to ensure the optimum use of lift truck capacity. See table on the last page for more detail. Contact pad options A variety of contact pad options are available to suit your handlg needs and ensure your loads are carried safely and securely. The contact pads can be split so that rolls with different diameters can be carried at the same time. Durable Eye-shaped pad protectors prevent the contact pads from beg worn out. Special wear bars protect the beargs. U-profiles protect the clamp body and serve as supports to keep the clamp a horizontal position for easy take up. Adjustable short arms The short clamp arms can be adjusted hydraulically when the clamp is rotated to 45. This enables the clamp to handle rolls of varyg diameters and ensures that the load is centered. Quick stallation The design of the brackets makes it easy to stall the roll clamp onto the lift truck. Roll clamps come standard with a mountg that has a forward tilt of 0. Optional mountgs can provide a permanent forward tilt of 4, or a variable forward tilt from 0 to 4. These could allow multiple rolls to be stacked one on top of the other. If, we can provide AUP quick disconnects which allow the clamp to be mounted or dismounted quickly without any tools. Optional sideshift AUP s high-performance sideshift components allow the driver to move the load to the side while the truck is standg still, so that they do not need to le the truck up to the approach. This saves time and reduces wear and tear on truck. AUP s SMOOTHRO technology uses needle bearg guided bottom brackets to ensure smooth, energy-savg shiftg even dusty operations. Our sideshifters use SOTSTOP technology to slow down the sideshift at the end of the stroke to protect the mast and reduce wear and tear of the mast rollers and profiles. These technologies prevent sudden movements that can lead to swgg loads and damage to the truck. Convenient servicg Central greasg systems on the rotator and bushed shafts reduce service time. AUP Rotatg Roll Clamps are modular built to facilitate the storage of spare parts. They have fewer components, which makes servicg easier. Comprehensive range In addition to the rotatg roll clamps with oscillatg arms, AUP offers a variety of clamps with parallel arm movement. The standard le of these can handle loads with capacities rangg from 1,764 to 55,116 s and diameters rangg from 9.8 to 130 ches. All rotatg angles can be implemented with the rotatg clamp versions. Endless, 360 rotation can be limited to 180 with end position cushiong

3 Accessories for Rotatg Roll Clamps Contact pad options AUP Roll Clamps can be fitted with different types of contact pad surfaces specifically suited to the load they are handlg: Cast contact pads (1) with fish bone pattern are standard. These can be applied universally and are suitable for most applications. Bu plate pads (2) are an alternative to cast contact pads when special shapes and sizes are needed. These are suitable for most applications. Polyurethane coatg (3) is bonded several layers. It provides excellent friction, is extremely durable, and it leaves no marks or streaks. It is suitable for many applications. Rubber lg (4) is vulcanized onto the contact pads. It is an alternative to polyurethane. It provides excellent friction. This lg can be used for most applications, and it is commonly used for handlg concrete pipes. Secutex lg (5) is made of a metal grid coated with polyurethane. It is screwed onto the contact pad and can be easily changed. It provides excellent friction and durability. Quartz sand coatg (6) is used for loads with very hard top surfaces that require strong friction. As this coatg wears off durg operation it must be reapplied regularly. Metal spray surface (7): contact pads with a metal spray surface have low build-up and excellent friction. This surface should only be chosen for loads with a very hard top surface as there is a danger of the load becomg stuck to the contact pad surface. SIC surface (8) is also used for loads with a very hard top surface and provides excellent friction. Pressure relief valve (9) AUP clamps come standard with an adjustable pressure relief valve. Optional manually controlled pressure relief valves are also available. These clude two, three or four stage pressure limitg valves that allow the driver to choose from preset pressures.
