2 Medium Duty Side-Shiftg Fork Positioners Fork positioners can easily handle loads with varyg widths to help you meet your complex material handlg demands. The truck operator can conveniently control the fork spacg on these high-visibility fork positioners from the cab, which creases the operatg efficiency and productivity. Increasg the fork width for wide loads improves the stability of the load and reduces the risk of the load slippg off the forks. djustg the fork width to the width of the load prevents over-loadg any part of the mast. The high-visibility design gives the driver exact and precise control over the fork position. These units have high stability, optimized tare weight and a low lost load center, all of which results a very good residual capacity. The fork positioners are designed to be durable, with easily service parts to reduce downtime. ISO profiles and guide profiles are manufactured from a sgle piece of metal, to give the attachment a high degree of rigidity and solidity. They will not develop the cracks caused by tension and fatigue that can occur welded designs. Reduce downtime: The highly wear-resistant slidg profiles can be replaced quickly and simply on site without the use of special tools. 3 T160 Fork Positioners The T160 range of fork positioners have optimized visibility and residual capacity, and come standard with valve block sideshift. Sce the valve block sideshift uses the rest stroke of the cylder for the sideshift function, the lateral shift is dependent on the fork position. Dependg on the construction width of the attachment, a lateral shift of up to ±11.8 ches can be achieved. The possibility of the load beg picked up off-center must be taken to account when calculatg the residual capacity. The T160 range of fork positioners are optionally available without a sideshift function. T466 Fork Positioners T466 range of fork positioners have optimized visibility and residual capacity, and come standard with separate sideshift. This ensures that the forks can be use the entire lateral shift of the unit any position. KUP separate sideshift components are designed so that there is no loss of residual capacity. The SMOOTHROLL needle bearg roller guided bottom hooks reduce friction and reduce the attachments energy consumption. The SOFTSTOP end of stroke slow-down reduces the shift speed over the last 0.6 ches to prevent damage to the load or mast. These fork positioners also have an enhanced lateral stability to improve the stability of the lift truck.
