5 UTOMTIC I CONDITIONING SSTEM OUTLINE. HETE BLOE OPETION MNUL OPETION hen the blower control S is set to any blower speed, the /C ECU sends a signal to the blower motor control relay, and controls the speed of the blower motor. UTO OPETION hen the auto S is operated, the /C ECU sends a signal to the blower motor control relay, according to the signals from each sensors and commands from the temperature S, and controls the blower motor speed automatically.. I INLET CONTOL SEVO MOTO CONTOL hen the FESH/ECIC select S is switched to ECIC, the motor in the air inlet control servo motor rotates to move the damper to the ECIC side. The damper position is recognized by the TEMINL TPI of the /C ECU, and rotates the motor until the damper reaches its position. hen the FESH/ECIC select S is switched to FESH, the motor in the air inlet control servo motor rotates to move the damper to the FESH side. The damper position is recognized by the TEMINL TPI of the /C ECU, and rotates the motor until the damper reaches its position.. I VENT MODE CONTOL SEVO MOTO CONTOL hen the mode select S in the instrument control panel is pushed, a signal is sent from TEMINL MPX of the instrument control panel to TEMINL MPX+ of the /C ECU, and activates the air vent mode control servo motor. This causes the servo motor to rotate to the position selected using the mode select S (FCE, BI LEVEL, FOOT, FOOT/DEF, DEF), and moves the damper door.. I MIX CONTOL SEVO MOTO CONTOL hen the temperature control S in the instrument control panel is pushed, a signal is sent from TEMINL MPX of the instrument control panel to TEMINL MPX+ of the /C ECU, and activates the air mix control servo motor. The motor and damper door is moved until it reaches the temperature set by the temperature control S.. I CONDITIONING OPETION The /C ECU receives various signals, i.e., the engine PM from the crankshaft position sensor, outlet temperature from the /C ambient temp. sensor, coolant temperature from the water temp. sensor, and the lock signal from the /C compressor, etc. hen the engine is started and the /C S in the instrument control panel is pressed, a signal is input from TEMINL MPX of the instrument control panel to TEMINL MPX+ of the /C ECU. s a result, the ground circuit in the /C ECU is closed, and the current flows from the HETE fuse to MG CLT relay TEMINL to TEMINL to TEMINL CMG of the engine control module to TEMINL MPX to TEMINL MPX of the body ECU to TEMINL MPX to TEMINL MPX+ of the instrument control panel to TEMINL MPX to TEMINL MPX+ of the /C ECU to TEMINL E to GOUND, turning the /C magnetic clutch on so that /C compressor operates. In addition, when the engine control module detects that the magnetic clutch is on and the /C compressor is operating, it controls the engine in the direction to avoid lowering the engine rpm during /C operation. hen any of the following signals are sent to the /C ECU, the /C is turned off. Coolant temp. is high. Outlet air temp. is low. Large difference between the engine speed and compressor speed. The refrigerant pressure is abnormally high or low.
