Mr. Goel is President and Senior Project Manager at, a consulting engineering firm specializing in Roadway Illumination and Traffic Signals design. He is a senior electrical engineer and has been practicing electrical engineering for over 20 years. Electrical consultant and project manager to Ministry of Transportation, municipalities and other consulting firms for roadway illumination, traffic signals, sub-division electrical design and contract administration projects. May 1988 to Jan 1998 Earth Tech (Canada) Limited, Toronto Senior Project Manager Responsible for complete electrical design of highway illumination, traffic signals, FTMS provisions, power distribution, parks/sports lighting and subdivisions for a number of Ministry of Transportation, Region of York and other Municipalities, TTC, Go Transit, and other private developers projects. Duties included project management, writing proposals, design, assign and supervise work, preparation of Contract drawings and tender documents, meetings, correspondence and coordination with other disciplines. May 1994 to August 1997* Canadian Highways International Corp., Toronto Manager Electrical Design Responsible for the complete electrical design of the new 69 km electronic toll Highway 407 and 28 interchanges including design of illumination, traffic signals, power supply substations and electrical provisions for tolling. Duties included establishing design criteria, value engineering, meetings, correspondence, providing direction and guidelines, coordination between several design consultants, construction, utilities and municipalities. 2 June 1978 to May 1980 DelCan Corporation Ltd., Toronto Design of illumination, power distribution and motor control system for roadways, public transit buildings, trailer park and pumping station projects. Duties included design, site inspection, preparation of Contract drawings and documents, meetings and correspondence Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Toronto Supervised installation of equipment and wiring for highway lighting according to contract drawings and specifications. Recorded work progress and quantities, resolved minor field issues and conflicts with contractor and prepared documents for payment Beas Dam Project, India Supervised the operation, maintenance and administration of a 10 MW thermal power plant and 11 KV substation as Shift Engineer. Duties included monitoring electrical control panels, turbine, boiler, coal handling system and controlling load distribution according to priorities. Responsible for providing alternate power arrangements in case of faults and plant breakdown.
