2 G E N E R A L R E M A R K S Auctioneers Comments Graham Watkins & Co are favoured with the instructions from Mr Geoff Poyser to conduct a collective sale on his and other vendors behalf with the result that there is a wide range of tractors, plant, commercial vehicles, machinery, implements and sundry farming effects. It is anticipated that there will be in excess of 1,500 Lots on offer in total. The sale will commence at 09.30am prompt with the smaller lots and sundry effects progressing onto the machinery etc. The sale of implements and trailers, will commence at 10.30am, with the tractors, machines at 1.00pm, vehicles at 2.30pm, to be followed by any remaining implements and trailers. Loading facilities will be available by arrangement. After ½ mile turn left and the sale will be found on the right hand side after approximately 3 ½ miles. Alternatively, from the A53 which runs from Buxton to Leek. If travelling from Buxton, turn left just past the Winking Man Public House. Follow this road ¼ mile past the Mermaid Public House and then take a left hand turn, whereupon the sale will be found on the left hand side. Viewing and Inspection Strictly on the morning of the sale. Refreshments A caterer will be in attendance for the sale of light refreshments.

3 VAT VAT at the standard rate will be applicable on the majority of items. Any items that do not attract VAT will be announced at the time of sale. VAT on Export Goods Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore customers must pay all the VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums. Payment Payment is to be made by either cheque, cash or debit card, please note that under money laundering regulations, the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than 10,000. Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of payment if you have any further queries. Direct bank transfers can also be accepted. Persons unknown to the Auctioneers and who pay by cheque will have their goods impounded until their cheques have cleared.
