Corrosion Protection and Painting l Double body gasket ensures positive body joint sealing against pipeline stresses. ll castings are shot blasted and are subjected to dewatering oil coats. Carbon Steel valves are Zinc phosphated and internally lacquered before final assembly. Prior to painting, valves are thoroughly cleaned and primer coated with inorganic Zinc Silicate. n intermediate coat of Epoxy Polyamide followed by final coat of Polyurethane liphatic paint is applied in semigloss finish. Valves are shipped in vapor corrosion inhibitor impregnated paper bags with desiccant pouches to prevent corrosion due to saline environment. 4
