6 BOEI NG 767 DAILY/TRANSIT - CHECK FORM Issue Sep/200 A/C TF- AJTL PAGE NO. STA Form usage. Transit check Sect. & 4 and Transit check items of sect. 2 & 3 to be completed and signed for. 2. Daily check All sect. and items of the form to be completed and signed for (incl.transit Check items) Refer to Icelandair 767 Line Manual for detailed content and procedures of check cards. The DAILY and TRANSIT checks, as specified below, include all items necessary for ETOPS operation. NOTE Identical maintenance on both sides of parallel systems shall be avoided during the same visit. If necessary, such as adding oil to both engines, the same personnel shall not perform this maintenance on both sides. Ref. CAME.4 NOTE CONDITIONAL ITEMS () If A/C is to be towed install landing gear ground locks and enter as a maintenance action in the defect section of AJTL (AMM ) (2) If A/C is parked in a tropical climate or on ground for more than 2 hours, install pitot covers and enter as a maintenance action in the defect section of AJTL (AMM 0--0/2) (3) If A/C is to be parked in temps below freezing for an extended period, drain water system, deactivate water heaters and compressor (AMM 2-4-0). Does not apply to Package Freighter Airplanes (PF). Section ARRIVAL. Review AJTL and Cabin Defect Report. (Check D.I.L. Due Dates on MEL Items, W.I.L. Items) (Card ) 2. Check left and right engine oil level and Service to FULL. (Card /2) NOTE Servicing must take place between 5 and 20 minutes after shutdown. (Card /2) If servicing was necessary, sign space(s) below. If servicing not necessary, enter N/A in space(s). L/H Sign R/H Sign NOTE Check rate of oil consumption. If rapid increase in oil consumption is noted and oil consumption rate is above 0,5 quarts per flight hour, advice MC KEF. Signature Section 2 INTERIOR, (Cockpit and Cabin) DAILY CHECK ITEMS. Check cockpit windows and windshields for delamination, cracks or damage. (Card ) 2. Check control cabin furnishings and equipment. (Card ) 3. Check all flight attendant seats for condition and proper operation. (Card ) 4. Check EICAS maintenance messages. (Card ) 5. Check operation of Stand-By power system. (Card ) 6. Check Eng., APU, Cargo and Emerg. escape squibs on squib test panel. (Card ) 7. Operationally check AFOLTS with Eng/APU/Cargo test switch. (Card ) 8. Operationally check TCAS. (Card for COLLINS, Card for HONEYWELL) 9. Verify proper operation of the Enhanced GPWS. (Card 34--0) 0. Check hydraulic fluid qty on EICAS, service as required. (AMM ). Check crew oxygen pressure, min 840 psi at 5 deg C. (Card ) 2. Check passenger cabin furnishing for condition and obvious damage. (Card ) 3. Check interior emergency lights. (Card ) 4. Check status of Photolumiencent Escape Lights. (Card ) Signature TRANSIT CHECK ITEMS. Check cabin cleaning, incl. replacement of soiled seat covers and cushions. 2. Check emergency equipment for presence and obvious damage. (Card ) 3. Check APU oil level and service as required. (Card ) Signature
7 Section 3 EXTERIOR AND ENGINES BOEI NG 767 DAILY/TRANSIT - CHECK Form , Issue Sep/200 DAILY CHECK ITEMS. Check wing position lights. (AMM ). 2. Check wing and body anti-collision lights. (AMM ) 3. Apply brakes and check brake wear and engagement. (Card /2 Allied Signal Brakes) 4. Clean exposed surfaces of landing gear strut pistons. (Card ) 5. Check main and nose gear wheels for condition and integrity. (Card ) 6. Check main and nose gear tires for wear. (Card ) 7. Check tire inflation. (Card ) 7. Check Radome for damage. (Card ) 8. Check the lower lobe cargo compartment linings to verify integrity of sealing. (Card ) 9. Check the bulk cargo door seals and installation. (Card ) 0. Check the lower lobe fwd and aft cargo door seals and installation. (Card ). Check left and right IDG scavenge filter pressure differential indicator. (Card /2) If servicing accomplished, sign in space(s) below. If servicing not necessary, enter N/A in space(s). L/H Sign R/H Sign 2. Check tailskid shock strut pop-out low press indicator. (Card ) 3. Ensure item 2 in the ARRIVAL CHECKLIST, servicing engine oil, was properly executed. Signature TRANSIT CHECK ITEMS. Supervise fuelling. (Card ) 2. Check ram air doors and outflow valve. (Card C) 3. Check positive pressure relief valves. (Card C) 4. Check fuselage in areas of drains and drain masts. (Card C) 5. Check main and nose gear tires and wheels for obvious damage. (Card C) 6. Check pitot probes, static ports, TAT probe and A of A vane. (Card C) 7. Check crew oxygen thermal discharge indicator. (Card C) 8. Check for missing or damaged antennas. (Card C) 9. Check empennage for obvious damage. (Card C) 0. Check left and right wing control surfaces. (Card C). Check lower wing surfaces and wingtips. (Card C) 2. Check left and right engine cowlings. (Card C) 3. Check left and right engine inlet cowl and fan blades. (Card C) 4. Check left and right engine exhaust and turbine blades. (Card C) 5. Check that the fuelling station door is secured. (Card C) Signature Section 4, BEFORE DEPARTURE. If water system was drained, check that it has been refilled and water heaters and compressor are activated. 2. Check that fueling station door and engine oil service doors are secured. 3. Check that exterior surfaces are free from ice and snow. 4. Ensure AJTL is on board, properly filled in and signed. 5.
