2 About Plimat The Plimat Group was established in 1968 as a mould manufacturer for various industrial markets. As a technical engineering company Plimat quickly gained an unrivalled reputation of excellence which has given them an enviable customer list. Porsche, Volvo and Black & Decker and many other international companies are long term customers. Today the mould making division of Plimat is a specialist mould producer manufacturing moulds for the following industries;- Automotive Electronics Plastics In 1978 the Company took advantage of the opportunity to develop its own Industrial Plastic Pressure Pipe Systems. Production commenced in 1980 of PVC- U Pipe Fittings. Today Plimat produces products in a variety of materials i.e. ABS Pressure Pipe Fittings ABS Ball Valves PVC Pressure Pipe Fittings PVC Ball Valves PP Pressure Pipe Fittings PP Ball Valves PVC Drainage Plimat prides itself on its quality and technical expertise as this has been the reason for the success of the Company. Plimat is one of the very few international companies who manufacture industrial pressure pipe systems from the mould making through to the finished product. It is highly suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Due to a Smooth bore it has both good flow characteristics and good resistance to abrasion. PVC-U is light to handle and can be easily jointed. 3
