This smarter range of key core products will make it easier for you to master our product portfolio, offer your business greater differentiation and reduce your overhead. But we re not stopping there. Eaton is introducing newly designed tooling sets by machine group that will cover over 80% of your core product crimping needs. This means less issues on your end; from nesting diameters, sticking collets, and other interface problems that we have engineered away. 26 New Crimper ET1187 Portable Variable Crimp Machine Eaton is proud to add the ET1187 crimp machine to its line of portable crimpers. While being our most economical variable crimp machine to date, the new ET1187 machine boasts a broad crimp capability with a new ease-of-use that is sure to please hose assemblers in the field. This new crimp machine has been approved to crimp: Weatherhead Z braided fittings and applicable hoses in sizes 1/4" through 1 1/4" Weatherhead 4S spiral fittings and applicable hoses in sizes 3/8" through 1" It s Never Been Easier to Crimp with Confidence This machine has a new, patent pending design to easily adjust to the Aeroquip and Weatherhead core products (see above). It s as simple as turning the collar to the correct color to match the layline on the hose, adjust the ring so that the correct size dot aligns with the correct size line on the collar and the machine is set for the correct crimp. Load the correct crimp die based on the crimp die chart attached to the machine, and the machine is ready to crimp. GH681 / H180 Standard machine comes with GH681/H180 settings built in for use with Z fittings in sizes -4 through size setting shown GH781 / H280 Standard machine comes with GH781/H280 settings built in for use with Z fittings in sizes -4 through -20.
