Our lean production techniques allow us to be completely flexible to always be in a position to despatch urgent same day orders, and to maintain service and quantities for production batches. The Uniflex crimping machines can also be linked via a laptop data transfer system which can then share all the crimp data giving full traceability to improve quality. Testing and Certification Our market leading and state of the art testing facilities confirm the security and integrity of hose assemblies at pressures up to 100,000 psi (7,000 bar). All UHP hoses and fittings supplied for water jetting applications undergo stringent manufacturing procedures including temperature, pressure and continuous cycle impulse testing to achieve BS EN accreditation. Facilities for flushing to NAS 6, pin pricking and high pressure gas testing are all available in-house. Quality Control Abdex consistently maintain and measure quality of manufacture and performance according to all relevant BS, EN and ISO standards including ISO 9001:2000. Abdex is also a member of the British Fluid Power Distributor Association (BFPDA) and the Water Jetting Association (WJA). Abdex are also fully certified to make the full range of Parker Polyflex products. Service and Aftermarket Abdex also offers unique identification of hoses and assemblies giving full traceability of the assembly for its working life. Both high-tech micro chipping and barcode scanning allows on-site engineers to diagnose a fault and request a replacement instantly, to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. For the UHP market Abdex also offers a fully equipped service vehicle with onsite testing up to 4,300 bar. Lifespan of hoses and machines can be substantially extended by subscribing to our transparent onsite and online maintenance contracts. Hose repairs can be made to water jetting assemblies* in accordance with the manufacturers approved procedure. *Repair service is only available on applicable water-jetting assemblies. 7
