13 EXTREME PRESSURE SPIRAL HYDRAULIC HOSE 36 psi SAE 00R3 This multi-spiral hose is used in severe pressure applications where high working pressures and superior resistance to impulsing are required. 36 is commonly used on heavy mobile equipment and has a red rubber cover for easy identification. 14 TRUCK HYDRAULIC HOSE 5 SAE 00RS Fabric Cover 5 is a single wire braid hose with a rubber impregnated polyester fabric braid cover. While not generally as abrasion resistant as neoprene, the polyester cover does allow for greater ambient heat resistance. This hose can be used for hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, diesel, air and water. 5 is most commonly used in heavy-duty commercial vehicle applications such as air brake, power steering, fuel filter, turbocharger oil supply, tilt cab cylinders, transmission/ engine coolant and oil filtration lines. 5 meets the requirements of J40 All and DOT FMVSS Type AII for air brake applications in sizes up to 5/8 inside diameter. 15 THERMOPLASTIC HYDRAULIC HOSE 7 SAE 00R7 Black Thermoplastic This medium pressure polyurethane covered hydraulic hose offers excellent flexibility and resistance to a wide range of chemicals and petroleum base products. 7 hose is commonly used in construction equipment, lubrication lines and hydraulic lift equipment. 17 PUSH-ON & SUCTION HOSE 0 Rubber Push-On Our standard push-on has an oil resistant tube that is also compatible with diesel fuel and gasoline. We offer standard black cover, plus blue (0B) and grey (0G) in 50 & 700 foot reels. Our single wire braid compact hose is now available in a bonded twin configuration for use on forklift masts. The specifications are the same as our standard hose except the cover is smooth. They have a Teflon tube with a stainless wire cover and are commonly used for compressor discharge lines on mobile air brake systems. 57 is also used in many chemical applications. 19 SPECIALTY HOSE -03MM Grease Assemblies PULSAR grease whip hose assemblies are durable and flexible connecting hoses for hand grease gun applications. The rubber hose is PULSAR 3 6 3,600 psi working pressure SAE 00RAT single wire hose. The couplings are factory crimped brass 8 male NPTF couplings. Special order lengths are also available. Weight Each -03MM " 0.0 lb -03MM MM MM MM J Jack A typical jack hose is /4 with 3 8 male NPT ends, usually 6 feet long. One NPT end threads into the hydraulic hand pump, while the other end usually has a C30-06 quick coupling male attached. A C30-06 female coupler is typically threaded into the ram. Remember that even though 0J Jack is rated for 0,000 psi, jacking applications are static pressure situations at ambient temperature. DO NOT USE jack hose for impulsing or regular hydraulic applications. Tube: Seamless oil resistant nitrile rubber Reinforcement: Two high tensile steel wire braids. Many manufacturers claim that their jack hose meets the Material Handling Institute IJ00 standard for jack hose. In fact this standard was withdrawn several years ago and is no longer in effect. Fitting and Assembly Notes: Use only PULSAR 506 solid male NPT stems. DO NOT USE JIC, BSP, or other hydraulic threads, since they may not be suitable for these pressures. All hoses must be skived and crimped to the recommended crimp dimensions - see the current PULSAR crimp chart. Use strain relievers to minimize hose flexing at the coupling; TPG-530 works well for /4 assemblies, and TPG-75 fits 3/8 hose. assemblies should include safety warning tags (see 0J-TAG). Working Min.
