4 4 Layher Ladders & Stairs A ladder ist like a good friend. Always there when needed. Rungs and stile quadruple-folded for maximum load-bearing capacity yet low weight. High stiffness thanks to innovative stile section: With TOPIC stiles torsion-stiff thanks to the large section profile plus triangular rungs made from high-strength aluminium alloy. High tread safety thanks to innovative rung shape: Rungs grooved for sure footing, with approx. 30 mm wide tread area; rung spacing 28 cm, step spacing 25 cm, step width 80 mm. Optimum stability: Slip-resistant plastic shoes with pyramid-shaped studs for sure footing. Load capacity 150 kg A ladder has to be reliable at all times. Whether it s used daily or only occasionally. It has to be stable and torsion-stiff, and offer a sure footing on steps and standing areas at all times. 6 6 Single ladders Single step ladder TOPIC 1042 Single ladder with steps for a wider standing area. Easy to use, maximum safety thanks to slip-resistant plastic shoes. Can be additionally equipped with wheels, shelf rollers or suspension hooks. Wooden single ladder 1052 The wooden single ladder is a simple, sturdy yet high-quality ladder. The stiles are made of solid red pine in the case of ladder models with up to 14 rungs, and of 9-ply coniferous plywood in the case of ladder models with 16 to 20 rungs. The rungs are made from sturdy beechwood. Thanks to the special square-section studs and a special gluing process, a durable and permanent connection between stile and rung is achieved. It contains ergonomic needs of painters, wallpaperers while long standing on the rungs. The ladders according to the additional Austrian standard Z1501 are made accordingly to EN and -2, excepting the two top rung spacings. They are 320 mm for comfortable standing on the ladder. 15 Multifunction ladders 15 Alu safety step 1062/1063 With the stable safety step made of aluminium, you have always a safe basement under your feet. Thanks to the extra-wide steps, alternatively with alu chequer plate (1062) or with plastic pads (1063), you always stand optimally. After work with it, only a few hand movements are neccessary to fold the safety step extremely space-saving. The ingenious construction opens the possibility, that it only needs 8 cm packaging (for version without safety bar). Thus, it fits in smallest niches in cars, households or workshops.
