3 Hardware for Sliding Doors (Timber) General Information General Information Introduction The HELM range comprises all hardware solutions from lightweight sliding doors to leaf weights of 70 kg. The hardware is primarily used for timber leaves, it can, however, also be employed for sliding leaves of metal or plastic. For the use of all glass doors we refer to the respective separate catalogue. The hardware excels at precise rolls, simple mounting and high-quality workmanship. The HELM hardware is, of course, tested according to DIN 27:99. For the medium and most common range of applications (sliding doors of 0-0 kg) the Modular.Concept 0 has been developed (pages 0-7). By means of only one track system and various accessory modules all applications can be covered in a simple manner. The hardware HELM 20 and HELM 0 (from page 0) make the range perfect in the upper weight classes and can also be used outdoors as all components are made of non-corroding materials. On the pages -7 you will find an overview of all hardware and fields of application.

Motion detector SmartStop for HELM 7 We put an end to sliding leaves that close noisily and bounce back. Thanks to our SmartStop for the use on one or both sides we stop each door and pull it noiselessly into the final position. This piece of hardware makes sure that closed leaves remain closed. 11 The idea Sliding doors of timber can be used in a wide range of contexts in both living and working environments. As well as their traditional application as normal doors for rooms, they are increasingly being used as room dividers. Regardless of whether they are used to separate kitchen areas, walk-in wardrobes or as part of office partitions, the possibilities are numerous, and therefore the range of corresponding fitting systems are so versatile. The use of just one track system with a range of accessory modules enables us to respond to different individual requirements. From simple single timber doors up to the double door systems with panels of glass weighing 0 kg and synchronised opening a wide range of applications can be delivered quickly and easily. The Modular.Concept 0 is based on our tried and tested HELM and HELM 7 fittings which have been continuously developed over many years and which now have been improved by the addition of some important components (SmartStop, pelmets, synchronised operation, stainless steel finish etc.).
