4 FAG Oil Injector Oil injector The oil injectors delivery volume is small; they can be used for dismounting rolling bearings and other press-fitted assemblies directly seated on tapered shafts (e.g. cylindrical roller bearings FAG NNU49SK, NN30ASK, N10K, N19K in machine tools) with the hydraulic method. The OILINJECTOR2500 can be used for shaft diameters of up to 80 mm, the OILINJECTOR1600 up to 150 mm. Spare seals are standard O-rings: OR6x1,5 (for OILINJECTOR2500), OR10x2,0 (for OILINJECTOR1600). 5 FAG Hand Pump Sets Hand Pump Set 1000 bar (0.7-l Oil Container) Pressure generators for the hydraulic method and for hydraulic nuts FAG hand pump sets The programme of FAG hand pump sets comprises the following basic designs: PUMP1000.0,7L (one-stage) PUMP1000.4L (two-stage) PUMP1600.4L (two-stage) PUMP2500.4L (two-stage) The two-stage pumps have a large delivery volume in the low-pressure range and then automatically switch to the highpressure stage. In this way a high working speed is achieved. For applications where larger amounts of oil are required the two-stage pumps are also available with an 8-l oil container (suffix.8l). Where the mounting of adapter or withdrawal sleeves requires a separate oil supply, we will supply on request a two-way valve (suffix.d). FAG hand pump set 1000 bar (0.7-l oil container) This hand pump set is suitable for hydraulically mounting and dismounting rolling bearings etc., for mounting pressfitted assemblies with contact pressures of up to 50 N/mm 2 and for driving hydraulic nuts up to RKP395 and RKP A. The oil container has a volume of 0.7 l. The pump is connected by means of a high-pressure tube (1000 bar, 1.5 m long) and a plug-in joint (1000 bar) for threaded connecting hole G 1/4 (see drawing). Sleeve connecting pieces have to be used for mounting and dismounting rolling bearings with adapter and withdrawal sleeves. If other connections are provided, adapters and reduction nipples can be used. The oil containers have a volume of 4 l (8-l containers also available on request). The pumps are connected by means of a high-pressure tube (1000 bar, 2 m long) and a plug-in joint (1000 bar) for threaded connecting hole G 1/4 (see drawing on page 3). If two connections have to be supplied with oil simultaneously the pump set is additionally supplied with a two-way valve. Oil supply is then effected through two high-pressure tubes and two plug-in joints. The pump sets are delivered ready for use in a metal box. 8 FAG Hand Pump Sets 2500 bar Pressure generators for the hydraulic method FAG hand pump sets 2500 bar These hand pump sets are suitable for mounting and dismounting rolling bearings and for mounting press-fitted assemblies with high contact pressures of up to 125 N/mm 2, e.g. gearwheels and couplings, using the hydraulic method. The oil containers have a volume of 4 l (8-l containers also available on request). The pump is connected by means of an HP tube (2500 bar, 2 m long) and an adapter or reduction nipple (dimensions and connecting hole, see drawing and table). If two connections have to be supplied with oil simultaneously, the pump set is additionally supplied with a two-way valve. Oil supply is then effected through two high-pressure tubes. The pump sets are delivered ready for use in a metal box. 10 FAG High-Pressure Pump High-pressure pump PUMP4000.0,2L The high-pressure pump is suitable for mounting and dismounting rolling bearings for shaft diameters up to 250 mm. As it generates pressures of up to 4000 bar the pump can also be used to expand heavy shaft couplings and gearwheels with the hydraulic method. The pump can be connected either directly or by means of thick-walled adapters. Rod Oil container Pump body The high-pressure pump can also be connected by means of a pump holder (with or without a pressure gauge) and a 2-mlong flexible high-pressure pipe (permissible maximum oil pressure 2500 bar). The pump should always be used in connection with a pressure gauge. for a width across flats of 27 mm Connecting thread G3/4 Oil recommended for normal ambient temperature: mineral oil with a nominal viscosity of 68 mm 2 /s at 40 C. 12 FAG Hydraulic Units Pneumatically operated unit The pneumatically operated FAG pump unit AGGREGATE.P1000/2500 is mobile and consists of a 13-l light-metal oil tank and two pumps (1000 bar and 2500 bar). On request, devices for other operating pressures are available as well. The pumps are individually controllable. The pump (2500 bar) can be used as a pressure generator for the hydraulic method for expanding shaft couplings and gearwheels. The pump (1000 bar) can drive a hydraulic nut at the same time. The pump is suitable for mounting press-fitted assemblies with contact pressures up to 100 N/mm 2. 13 FAG Hydraulic Units Mobile hydraulic unit for batch mounting The mobile unit features a valve-controlled, double-direction pressure cylinder (pressure force 700 kn, axial travel 215 mm) which is driven by a motor pump. The height of the cylinder can be altered within a range of mm by a lifting cylinder and rocker. Accessories such as guiding sleeves, mounting sleeves, traction and pressure spindles, and drawing frames must be ordered for each application individually. Orders or inquiries must contain details of the bearing type and the data of the electrical connection. This device is primarily used for mounting and dismounting FAG axlebox bearings TAROL (see also FAG Publ. No. WL ). Order designation: MHU.TAROL (FMV.TAROL131084) FAG 11

Adapters and reduction nipples of type A (with sealing ring) are suitable for oil pressures of up to 800 bar. Type B (with blade sealing) is suitable for oil pressures up to 2500 bar. In addition to the sizes indicated here, other adapters and reduction nipples are also available on request.
