Its design keeps the rider interface narrow for a direct feel to the bike and a responsive chassis. The Showa Separate Function Fork-Big Piston (SFF-BP) handles front-end suspension. Superb feel comes from the race-spec radial-pump master cylinder, which offers progressive, yet controlled braking performance. Combined with a rear single-piston 250mm petal disc and standard ABS, smooth and controlled stops can help provide confidence. CONTROL In keeping with the naked aggressive appearance of the Z1000 ABS, the digital instrumentation is as compact yet visible as possible, giving the rider a wide field of vision. The dual-element bar-graph tachometer displays up to 4,000 rpm along the left edge of the lower LCD, while the LED tachometer in the upper display takes over above 4,000 rpm.
